We had a wonderful stay. Lella and all the staff were truly kind and put attention to details. She even gave us a lot of great recommendations in the area. The apartament was great and perfectly equipped (kitchen equipment, etc.). The breakfast was also delightful! I would really recommend it to everyone!

We had an amazing stay at Virdamuri. Everything there is just perfect - comfortable, clean apartment, delicious fruits and vegetables, delicious breakfast - make sure you try focaccia made by Fausto, the best one we have ever eaten. Great swimming pool with the view and anything you could need. The mobile phone coverage is really good so if you need to work a bit it’s a perfect place for some work&travel gateway. And the staff is really nice, always greeting you with a smile and tips for the places to visit or eat at. Thank you so much for everything! Hope to be back someday :)

This accommodation deserves every single positive rating left by anyone else here already, and so much more. Different to other places, here you are not harassed to leave a positive rating, the high rating is real and deserved. The service is unlike anything else I have experienced so far. The hosts are incredibly friendly, there is always someone around to take care of you and your questions. More importantly, it's not like the hosts are lingering around you like in other places, instead, you have a very private atmosphere and it only takes one WhatsApp for someone to bring you a drink to the pool, advise you on the best restaurant nearby, or simply recommend you a beach for the afternoon. When spending time at the pool, you have a view on Etna on the one side, and you see the Ocean or Taormina on the other, it's truly beautiful! The rooms are very modern, everything works, we weren't missing literally anything. And I am sure, if something would have been missing, the hosts would have helped you in a split second. It is also a perfect starting point for visiting the different places on the Island. Yes, you need a car, but being honest, visiting Sicily you need a car anyways. We consider ourselves lucky to have found this accommodation, we are highly recommending it to anyone and we hope to come back one day ourselves. Consider this place as a true gem!! The resort is so neat, beautiful, peaceful and calm. The Staff are amazing. Lella was exceptionally welcoming and kind to us. My friends and I truly enjoyed our four days stay and wish to come back.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and comfortably designed. The pool is large and the water is pleasantly warm. I was very surprised by the friendliness and care of the staff and the hostess. The breakfast exceeded all our expectations.

This is a amazing place to stay. Grounds are beautiful, our apartment was large and very well equipped, very clean and well furnished. Excellent breakfast included and host very friendly and kind and gave excellent advice and information.

Giarre is probably a fairly average location but well located to Etna and Taormina

Virdamuri Etna Country Resort is the perfect base for exploring both Mount Etna and the Taormina area. From the moment we arrived, we were met with the warmest hospitality (even at Sicilian standards) — every single person working there was genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The resort itself is stunning: a beautifully kept garden, a pool and jacuzzi with breathtaking views to mountain Etna and the sea,, and greenery (including lemon and orange trees) that makes the whole place feel like a private oasis. The living spaces are stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and privacy. Some parts of the resort are still under development, but this was never an issue for us — in fact, we are excited to see how this already wonderful place will become even better in the future. A heartfelt thank you to Giulia and the entire Virdamuri family for making our stay so memorable. As a family, we unanimously agreed: this was the highlight of our trip and we will definitely be back! 💛

Lovely apartment in peaceful setting with a great pool with a view. Super helpful staff in building an itinerary and suggesting the best things to do with your time available - nothing was too much. Enough kitchen equipment to cook a few basic meals too. Breakfasts lovely.

This is an amazing place to stay in the Catania region. Don’t think you can find a better place! The owners are amazing and tbe garden and pool is really nice. Amazing view over the ocean and Etna. The design on the rooms are really slick! I will come back next time we visit Sicily! Forgot to say breakfast was the best one on our Sicily trip!

There is nothing negative to say about this place!

A beautiful property, perfectly located to explore Etna, Catania, and Taormina. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel grounds are immaculately maintained and lush with greenery, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The pool was a real treat — clean, inviting, and surrounded by greenery, making it a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was another highlight: a generous and delicious spread featuring freshly baked croissants and seasonal local fruits. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host and the wonderful staff. They were incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for activities and even booking restaurants for us. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference. We felt truly cared for, and we would absolutely return.

Waww! One of my favorite vacations ever! The property was spotless, and every detail in the room was perfectly taken care of. Lella and Giulia were incredibly kind and welcoming — such lovely hosts! The breakfast? Absolutely delicious! We stayed in a room with a breathtaking view of Etna ,unforgettable. 100% we will come back. Just amazing!

Our stay here was truly wonderful! Lella made the experience even more special — she’s incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything: breakfast, lunch, restaurant tips, local experiences — you name it. The resort itself is beautiful, surrounded by greenery and so peaceful. The view of Etna is the cherry on top! Everything was spotless and well maintained. We also appreciated having a parking spot, pool towels, and air conditioning. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but it wasn’t an issue for us since we weren’t working during our stay.

This hotell was the best part of our visit to Sicily. Just 7 rooms, lovely pool area overviewing Etna, free parking, clean and big appartments and excellent hosts. We loved every minute of our stay here

Fantastic facilities, great swimming pool, tasty breakfast. Amazing people who work there, very helpful with any advice around sightseeing and places to eat. We had the pleasure to deal with Lella and Fausto who were both extremely helpful.

Everything was perfect. Lella is a super nice host. Extremely enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very clean and new. And there was a surprise included breakfast. Loved our stay and we definitely recommend !

The house and the garden is a magical place with everything for a perfect relaxation and vacation: the smell of the lemon was all around us, the beautiful view to Etna from the pool area was always different, the lovely breakfast under the palm trees, and the host, Lella exceeded all expectations!! That is the hospitality what we will never forget!!

Amazing place to stay. Perfectly clean, modern apartment. Great pool and lots of sun beds. We stayed in the studio apartment with sofa bed which was made up for us and perfectly comfortable. Continental breakfast and coffee was very good. The hosts couldn’t have been kinder and gave us recommendations each day on where to visit, how to get there and where to park. Highly recommend

The only downside is that the property is located on a fairly busy road and not really able to walk to any restaurants

We spent 5 fantastic days at Virdamuri, in the beautiful Etna Country Resort, and it was truly unforgettable! We traveled with children, and everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the surroundings – the garden, the pool, the entire atmosphere – were simply amazing. The view is breathtaking: relaxing at the foot of Mount Etna while enjoying the sight of the sea is a one-of-a-kind experience. What made our stay even more special was the warm hospitality and kindness of our hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and felt completely at home. Thank you for the wonderful time, the delicious food, and the cold proseccos! We are so happy to have met Lella and her team – this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience we’ll never forget!
