We didnt spend much time in the hotel, so it was perfect for our needs. If, the weather had been bacd and we had to spend time around the hotel, I think we would have found the smaller room, with dubious Canal View frustrating. The Bar was small with No view of the canal which is a shame. Unless you sit outside. But you only have limited seating.

Breakfast was as expected. Staff were all excellent. Our room was nice however, I think I had expected it to be a little larger. Whilst we did have canal view it was at the back of the hotel and was on floor 2 so you would have to peer below to see the canal. ... therefore, I would question canal view?

The location is perfect if you want to be away from the crazy busy hustle and bustle. It's super close to the water taxi and the staff are fantastic.

The 30% increase in cost from when we booked the hotel to when the payment was taken. Will never book a foreign destination with Booking.com again.

Accessing public transport may not be as convenient, requiring a bit of walking, especially challenging with luggage or a baby. However, this seems to be a common issue in Venice

The localization of the hotel it's a little bit further from the main place. But nothing that 10min walks resolves.

The main characteristic was the attending for the team. They were just amazing! One of the best reception I received from a hotel. Cordial, smart and intuitive.

Smells damp - this could be due to the nature of Venice itself - surrounded by water.

Spacious room, comfy bed and very quiet at night. This could be due to the location of this hotel - slightly further away from the main road. We prefer it this was as we were happy to walk to tourist attractions. I love the bathroom - very spacious and the shower was excellent. This hotel have a bar which be can go in the evening for a quiet drink.

The surrounding area smells musty, probably due to damp. Location wise, it’s a bit far out but we were happy to walk to the central. Fewer tourists mulling around the area which is good.

Spacious room, good size bathroom and comfortable bed. Very quiet and we slept well. We had some drinks at the bar and it was good. Reception staff were helpful, always willing to help.

It is a beautiful building with delightful & helpful staff. We loved the location, a short walk into the main areas around Rialto and St Marks but quiet and very pretty. Cross the canal to the next one, Fondamenta Ormesini, has lots of bars and restaurants with a much more local clientele and authentic atmosphere, literally 3 minutes walk. It's also close to the Strada Nova, a great shopping street with more bars and restaurants and a great supermarket inside a traditional Venetian theatre. The bar at the hotel is very pretty and elegant, Marco makes the best bellinis, which was always the perfect end to our days exploring this wonderful city.

The location was perfect, as we wanted to be a quite area but with close access to the sights and restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly and surprised us with an upgrade when we arrived which was lively. Everything was also very clean and slept really well !

The street was flooded!!!!

Excellent location just five minutes walk from Madonna dell Orto boat stop, the first from the airport. Well away from the tourist hordes around St. Marks and Rialto. 10 minute walk to the many restaurants near the Guglie Bridge, try the Trattoria alla Palazzina. Breakfast 15 euros but has an extensive selection, and not just the usual Italian pastries. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended.

Wasn’t a fan of the shower on the floor instead of a tub but a lot of places are like that

Loved this hotel! Very welcoming staff and the room was very comfortable. The bar was good value. Would definitely recommend for a hotel away from the really busy Venice. And if you’re getting the ferry from the airport it’s the first stop and right by the hotel.
