Nothing bad to say. Very good value for the service. The hotel was a highlight of the island.

Really friendly and helpful staff:) they printed and scanned documents for me and gave great suggestion of where to go on the island They've spacious and modern rooms with a nice bathroom A lovely pool area with a bar. The waiter makes excellent aperitivi!! The breakfast was very nice. Lovely pastries and the waiter even gave me a specially made cafe doppio. I recommend you get to know the staff. They're really sound. The grounds are pretty nice too. They've little sculptures around if you go walking around.

The hotel in general was pretty old fashioned, not in a cute antique way, but just a bit needed more character. The breakfast was the usual continental but the coffee was really shocking instant stuff. The hotel says 4* everywhere but that was many moons ago and it needs some updating to really give it a luxury feel.

The view was lovely and the locating was very central to Lipari town. The pool area was well kept and the pool was a good size and nice and clean. Room was clean and showers were good and powerful.

Since there are no weaches in the island, having a pool was essential, specially to relax in the of the end. The staff was formal and cordial and the room very spacious. The shuttle to the port was a nice treat considering that it was 45 degrees outside!

Just a few minutes from the port. Very large room and nice pool. Ideal to visit the islands. Excellent service. Efficient shuttle for the port.

A bit expensive if you're not going to use all the faculties such as the pool and bar. We spent more time off property on boats and beaches

Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Grounds were beautiful. Tile in rooms and bathroom striking.

The walk from the port was a bit rough because the side walk is missing in places. They do have a shuttle which helps.

The host was very kind and the facility refreshing.

Rooms are not huge, but most have a balcony! Shower could be bigger.

Great location and views, lovely mosaic tiles are a standout, amazing pool, lovely staff. Great with kids.

    Nothing, we loved it.

    - THE POOL! and gardens - we spent a whole day by the pool rather than going to the beach because it was THAT good! The service at the bar was a little slow though... - Location - 500m to Marina Lunga (main port where you get the ferries) and 10 minutes stroll to the main street with shops, cafes & bars - Transfers - to the port were for free! Better than the rip off price they charge at the port (10-15 euros each way!!!) - Staff - friendly, spoke English and very helpful, answering all of our questions and requests - Room - was well furnished, very very clean, spacious, with a comfy bed, large bathroom with free toiletries and free wifi - Breakfast - there was a wide selection of all the usual Italian breakfast trimmings and they had lots of variety e.g. different types of cheese, cold meats, fruit, cakes. It definitely wasn't a boring breakfast! And we loved eating out on the restaurant terrace, overlooking the pool.

The Wifi is only sporadically working. The bathroom could be better cleaned.

The breakfast was very good. The pool was very clean and big enough for swimming. Nice balcony. Very supportive staff.

Wonderful garden setting with a large pool and only 5 mins walk from the town centre. Large comfortable room with a private terrace. Bliss! Also the complimentary pick from the wharf was perfect.

Wifi was terrible. Room door took multiple times to lock. Overall not a bad place to stay however a bit expensive for what you got.

Good location. Clean & neat. Great breakfast.

Amazing hotel! Great location, clean, nice restaurant with really delicious food, good pool bar with nice cocktails, amazing swimming pool and very polite and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

    - No sofa, couch in the room - Would expect more choice for breakfast, e.g. American style, like bacon, sausage - Maintenance required e.g. cabinet door hinge

    - Large and clean swimming pool - Breakfast cappuccino - Supportive stuff

Aktea is up a hill, away from the port. I wouldn't stay here again, but it was convenient for my conference. The staff at breakfast were great. The reception staff seemed extremely irritated every time I asked a question. The air conditioning was spotty at best.

The staff at breakfast were very nice and having a terrace was lovely.

the air conditioning is not functioning properly and there's a nasty background noise when the power is on, so you're stuck with mosquitoes
