Many stairs to climb. Bathroom had a glass door which gave no privacy to any one using it.

Our room had a huge Balcony over looking the water. Building was in the center of all the action perfect spot.

Only a portable AC unit was working during our stay, so the room can get quite warm in hot weather.

Fantastic location yet quiet, with a direct view of the Grand Canal from the large terrace. The room is spacious but sparsely equipped, and the bathroom is very small. Key pickup is nearby, with free luggage storage and friendly staff.

Floors weren’t swept during our stay, Bathroom is spacious but the water pressure in the shower was pathetic. Adding an iron and iron board would have made it comfortable. The smell in the entrance due to the restaurant in the ground floor and the heat was not pleasant.

Location was good. Staff were helpful during checkin, checkout and helped navigating the system. Helped booking a very early water taxi etc. Location is very close to Rialto Bridge and the market.

Best room I have stayed whilst in Venice ***** ‘ coffee/tea in room, fridge, tv, AC and luxury bathroom. Great view of Grand Canal, I would have stayed here for next 3 nights, unfortunately fully booked. Staff were brilliant.

I didn’t like the paper cups supplied for coffee and tea. I don’t think I have ever stayed in a place with paper cups. Our room was very hot when we arrived (lateApril). The air conditioning was not on. When I contacted the property I was told the city hasn’t turned air con on until next month. While I understand this is not the fault of the property, I feel it should be noted in the facilities description when AC is not available. There was also a smell coming from the bathroom drains but I can understand with properties so old that this may be something out of the hotels control. We left the toilet seat closed as well as the bathroom door.

Loved the location. It was perfect. The view from our room was stunning. The check in process at the other hotel was smooth and the lady was helpful with advice on how to get to the hotel location. I loved that a short walk up an alleyway had us right in the heart of everything Communication was great with clear instructions on checking in at a different hotel. We also received a lovely Easter tray on Easter Sunday which I thought was a lovely touch. Bed was clean and comfortable.

Room was smaller than what I expected. The bed cover was really dusty and smelled funny. The room would need some taking care of. One day we put the sign "do not clean room", but that didn't stopped the cleaning personal entering our room. The bed was really hard (which I don't like, but I know that it's something other people look for). The walls were really thin and you could hear people from other rooms (there was a child having a tantrum in another room and it was like it was in our room).

Location was really in the heart of the city. Once you got out of the hotel, you had a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops at 3-5 min of light walking. We've arrived early in the morning and the staff was helpful and kept our baggages until we could check in. Bathroom and bed linen were clean.

The bathrooms could use a little update

Although the check is in a different place (3 minutes away), it's absolutely worth it! Easy to find, very big rooms and we had a room with a balcony overviewing the canal. Just wonderful.

The shower in our room was a bit awkward to stand in as we had to have one foot on the step and the other in the tub!

Location is great and you can jump on the water bus from 2 stations that are nearby. Our room had a view of the canal and it was interesting to watch the gondolas pass by. There are some steep stairs to get to the property so keep that in mind. You can check in late by using a link from your phone without visiting the reception which is located at another property.

The staff were great and the views were out simple the best. We were upgraded to a main cannel room. That was pretty much the same view from the Venise Venise Hotel. Amazing valve

As this is an old building, floor was crooked, so it was a bit unpleasant for me. Also, a lot of stairs to get to the rooms.

Great location, loved the gondolas sailing by that we could see through our window.
