A lovely place, situated right next to Lucca's amazing medieval town, with great hosts, fantastic rooms and tasty breakfasts. We couldn't have a better place to enjoy Lucca's Comics and Games - it was a dream come true. ;) Cheers to Ciccio and Ares!

Nothing to dislike!!

This is my second visit to Al Porto do Lucca. I returned with another friend and found our home for 3 days. Francesco and Giovanna were just wonderful as before. They are a delightful couple who enjoy their guests also. All types of meats and cheeses for breakfast and terrific scrambled eggs and cheese. You will be pleased. I love this property… so comfortable and lovely antiques to view.

Beautiful house adjacent to the walled city. Lovely welcome and the bedroom was really clean and comfortable - an excellent night's sleep, and the breakfast was one of the best. If you're visiting Lucca then this is the place to stay. You also have a really good pizzeria (Da Ninni) less than two minutes away! Highly recommended.

Everything was just great. Guests have use of a shared fridge in the garden which is really helpful. We stayed during a heatwave so a small fridge in our room would have been great but not essential.

The bed, bedding & shower were spotless and excellent quality. Breakfast was awesome, Parma ham & melon, fruit & yoghurt, toasties & scrambled eggs not forgetting bread & croissants with a perfect coffee alongside fresh orange juice!

Location perfect, just outside the walls and short walk to station. A beautiful property with a lovely owner Giovanna, who was very friendly and helpful. My room was perfect, overlooking the garden. The bed was very comfortable, with beautiful linen. Large bathroom with really good shower, toiletries and luxurious towels. Breakfast amazing!, eggs, fruit, ham, yogurt and bread/pastries etc. I stayed 5 nights but wish it had been longer, will definitely stay again when back in Lucca.

An elegant home wonderfully located close to Lucca city walls, & even closer to the train station (but you don’t hear trains at all). It made our travels easy & enjoyable. We were able to leave our bags at the Villa after check out, while we made a last, quick visit to town before leaving Lucca. The shower & bathroom were spacious and beautiful. Gorgeous bed linen & towels. Breakfast was lovely. We felt very well cared for!

The location is excellent for walking into the walled city with its many bars restaurants, also very close to the train station which gives easy access to Florence and Pisa. The breakfast is a little different to most but was very nice with table service by loverly staff. Our room was very spacious with a large walk in shower with separate Wc and wash basin.

Cozy small city hotel (B&B) beautifully decorated and in a great location to explore the city. 5 minutes walk to the old town. Nice rooms with well equipped bathrooms, large terrace overlooking the garden. Very good quality of the bed linen and towers, we slept really well and were able to relax and enjoy the typical Tuscany feeling the hotel offers. Great breakfast in the winter garden of the house, nicely presented and served. Extremely nice and helpful owners who take great care of all your needs. Lovely place I would highly recommend.

We weren’t sure about the area at first - but decided it was really good to be near the station and yet only a stone’s throw from the city walls. It’s worth walking a long the nearby aqueduct.

It is a beautifully furnished old house - the rooms are well appointed with modern bathrooms. Excellent breakfasts and welcoming hosts.

we loved this property! it was cozy and comfortable and the room was immaculate with beautiful furnishings. breakfast was delicious! everyone was warm and welcoming! we borrowed bicycles all day to ride around the town. great library to trade in your books !
