Nice family run hotel Hotel Albergo Al Cacciatore well managed hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Feels like your part of the family. Rooms are nice and clean. Good breakfast and great coffee. Not too far from the old city - 10 minutes walk, also 12 min to the railway station. A big supermarket Italmark is nearby. Enjoyed every minutes spent at the hotel. Comfy bed and pillows. The swimming pool is awesome.

    I had a great stay

I asked for a double room instead of a single room and it was not a Problem at all. The staff is very, very friendly and the breakfast very good - you also get your individual fresh made coffee to your table.

Doesn't do full restaurant service, only breakfast. That said there is supermarket 2 mins walk away, & countless different eateries around town, embracing everything from fast food out of a vending machine, to serious upper end cuisine.

Clean, comfortable, friendly. It is a 2 min. taxi from Station, and a 10 min walk from lake.

Bit of a walk to the seafront, bout 20 minutes but even that was enjoyable!

What a brilliant hotel! I loved the comfy rooms and the comfy bed, the pool was brilliant and a really nice touch, kept us busy! The staff were lovely, friend and helpful and the breakfast kept us going all day. Honestly 5/5 would definitely book again. Comfy, friendly and excellent value for money!

To get in to the shower you have to climb over the toilet. On the rooftop they said that they have a small pool. That was a joke because it was of the kind you buy in shops to have in the garden for the kids to play. It's next to a big power station or something with powecables going everywhere across the heavily trafficked street with trafficjams from early morning to late night. It's a long walk to get down to the lake and all the restaurants and shops.

The breakfast was nice. You cook you own eggs so you get them as you want them. The pool is nice. There is a elevator and easy access from the parking.

10 min walk to city center/ beach, but really no problem though, very easy to get there.

Staff was amazing. Awesome nice pool outside as well as a small one on the roof deck. Nice breakfast and the very friendly owners made great coffee for us every morning. Room was spacious with a small French balcony. Best stay during out trip

Owners and staff welcoming and seemed genuinely enthused with you staying; really adds a big plus to the enjoyment of a holiday. The rooftop terrace benefited from all-day sun letting you chill-out whenever. Before booking I tracked hotel rates in Desenzano - al Cacciatore consistently offered excellent value.

Walk to town but obviously the price and pool outweighed this.

Nice staff. Pool and rooftop terrace were great. Fridge in room and proximity to supermarket and 10-15 minute walk from train station.

Located next to abust road, but this does not affect you when in the pool or in bed. Only a 121 minute walk to the lakeside

Staff extremely helpful and friendly, Claudio spoke excellent English and provide us with some good restaurant recommendations when asked. Roof garden and small pool were great, very peaceful.

Family run hotel which made you feel very welcome from the moment you passed the threshold and attended to your every need with a huge smile. Having the bikes available were a huge bonus and the pool was always immaculate with plenty of sunbeds and chairs no matter how busy. Breakfast was great and produce was good quality especially the granola... yum. There is a large supermarket with minutes walk which catered for anything extra you may need. It is in a convenient location. A taxi ride from the train station was only 8euro and the walk to the lake was approx. 10 mins and no trouble even for my 70+ year old mum. Be careful of the pedestrian crossings - the Italians don't like to stop!

I booked the hotel via this website and probably by mistake reserved a single room instead of double one. I found out when we arrived and it was too late to change rooms. We've got an extra bed in our room, which solved the problem and i was grateful. I just think it's not fair to be charged for an extra bed the same price as for a double bed room, considering what tiny space we had to deal with.

It is tiny but pretty nice hotel with it's own parking and swimming pool. In a walking distance from the beach and DT. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, does a lot for the hotel obviously. The place is clean and peaceful. The pool outside was very refreshing, just a pitty you can't use it in the evening too.

Position of hotel. Noisy on major crossroads. Okay if your staying for one or two,but would not recommend for a weeks holiday.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and there was a very personal touch. Accommodation was excellent, the pool an added bonus. The location was a short walk from Desenzano centre, the train station, shops and supermarket. Breakfast had a wide choice and was of a good quality.

There is some problem with the address, when put into the GPS it said it doesn't recognize no 2 and we went up and down the street and had to ask at another hotel until we discovered it.

The hotel is sweet, the staff is nothing short of wonderful, the location is great, the wifi worked, the rooms were lovely (we extended our stay and had to move to another room), there is aggod vegan restaurant 5 minutes from there, we enjoyed very much

the hotel is located very close to a busy main road and an electrical sub station which can be quite off putting for some people and is not pictured or mentioned on the web site photos.

the hotel owners/staff were great and very helpful nothing was to much trouble.the hotel was clean, rooms were cleaned/towels changed on a daily basis and the pool area was kept immaculate at all times with adequate space around for all guests.on the whole good value for money.
