There was no heating in the room and we needed extra blankets at night. Also not too pleasant to sit in room during the evening as it was cold. The photo on Booking.com's site showed what appeared to be a hotel right on it's own waterfront; what was very obviously, now I have visited, not visible in the photo was the main road running between the hotel and lakeside. It was very noisy and I would not have booked this hotel if I had known of this road.

Outlook across the lake from the room was beautiful

The hotel is small, you have to walk through a cramped walkway to get to the front desk. The air conditioner did not work well (SUCKED) so it made it hard to sleep in a hot and stuffy room any time of the day. No refrigerator in the room. No ice offered at the hotel.

The view of from the room is beautiful. Location is great.

    Small room but ok.

Nice and warmly hotel with own access to the lake over the street. Good bed with stiff mattress. Private separate parking. Comprehensive breakfast and good restaurant included. Location appr. 20 min. walk to Malcesine but bus stop directly in front of the house and they offered rental bikes free of charge! I had a pleasent stay and there is nothing to complain!

The bathroom was well equipped but quite small.

The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and everyone waited for us even though we were late down after a wedding reception.

The view from the Lake View room is just spectacular and well worth the extra cost. The room was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Best of all, that bed -so comfortable. The food in the restaurant is excellent, especially the pizza. We usually go out every night but found ourselves having both lunch and dinner at the restaurant a number of times so as not to miss a morsel ! Lastly the location is perfect, nice and quiet away from the crowds and traffic but only a pleasant 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride into Malcesine, - there is a bus stop right outside where you can catch the bus north to Riva or South towards Bardolino. The hotel also offer complimentary bicycle rental with no time limit and they are good bikes. The location is especially ideal for anyone who likes outdoor activities - water sports, sailing, hiking, climbing and paragliding are all on offer here. A hire car is recommended for more flexibility as the weather is changeable and the days the rain threatened, we headed south to sunshine in Sirmione. Thanks for a great stay Menotti family

Bus trip from/to other cities. Most stop in Malcesine central. There are a few direct buses to Campagnola bus stop (just a few steps from Albergo San Remo) in Malcesine (ask bus driver) but usually out of town buses require a bus transfer in Garda

Perfect for quiet getaway. It is just across the road from the lake, with the mountains behind it. Lovely to laze by the lake, walk or catch the shuttle to nearby towns or just sit in the inhouse restaurant. It is 3 km from Malcesine central. Buses from/to other cities are not frequent and usually requires a bus transfer in Garda

Perfect location outside Malchesine. Bustop a cross the street. Wonderful balcony and view over the sea. Lovely breakfast downstairs in the restaurant. The restaurant was also famous for their pizza. The Lake of Garda just meters away across the street. :)

Hotel is quite expensive considering the location and the small rooms. Bath could have been cleaned quite better.

    Good breakfast, staff was friendly.

Easy access to the beach from the hotell. Nice helpfull personell and clean rooms. We booked a room with a balcony towards the beach and had a nice view from there. Although it was too hot to stay there for long. It was 37 degrees at that time. The air conditioner was a must for us from Norway. Altogether a very nice stay.
