The position is excellent: inside the very down town and very close to the parking, quiet corner even if on one of the most frequented street. Aside the old walls of the town and very good for running and walking. All the circuit is safe.

It was easy to find, staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and was the first place I’ve seen to have an electric jug. Breakfast was nice with barista made coffee. Just a short walk to an amazing castle, restaurants and cafes.

The room was rather small (it was hard to find a place for suitcase), breakfast was a bit caotic although the choice of food was quite good.

Cleanliness and location right in the city center.

The breakfast could be better, but everything was fine

Hotel San Romano is in the city centre, in the heart of old Ferrara, so every restaurants, bars and tourist attractions are near and easy to reach. The room and breakfast room are very clean. The train station is about 20 minute walk.

Wish we could have found bikes to rent to get around a bigger area of the city, but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

Good location within the city walls but not dead-center in the hustle and bustle. We had a very quiet room on the top floor, with roof beams exposed. Spacious. Comfortable beds. The AC unit was quiet and worked very well (a good thing, since it was wiltingly hot). Good shower. Fine breakfast, with coffees made to order. The younger staff (probably the son) spoke enough English to be helpful to us in giving directions, recommendations, etc. Bonus find for the teenaged skateboarder was a good skate shop just a couple of doors down the street.

The bed was very unconfortable! I couldn't sleep properly! And because it was very close to the center there was a lot of noise on the street. But it's normal

The room was very big and breakfast was sufficient although it didn't have fruit.

Air conditioner clicked all night. Big man at front desk was rude and yelled at me when I asked for a corkscrew. "No vinc, no birra". Bizarre behavior.

The parking was difficult to locate and not as close as we prefer. There is a bar across from the hotel, and the noise on Saturday night lasted until the early morning hours making it difficult to fall asleep.

The breakfast was great, and the room was spacious and clean. There were many good restaurants close by.

Basin plug broken, the spar didn't work and I wasted a tub of water to find that out. There was little to no English spoken and no instructions to get an English TV news or radio channel. Breakfast was basic but nutritious but not if you are a vegan

    Convienience, cleanliness, comfort.

It's a small thing, but the shower (although a reasonable size) didn't have anywhere to put my stuff, so had to keep opening the door to get to things.

Great location. The decor is simple, but everything's functional and clean. You shouldn't be in the hotel anyway - get out and explore the amazing town! Again, breakfast was simple, but high quality, so happy there too.

The Hotel has not a parking. If you go by car you can park very closely, in a public parking slot, but it's very expensive. No any kind of allowance or discount for hotel guests. This is usually done by other hotels that don't have park!

The hotel is very close to the town center, in a pedestrian area.

I expected more options in breakfast, for example, fruits end eggs, but not only croissants, cakes, cheese and ham. Coffee was good though. Wi-fi did not always work properly in my room and cafeteria.

Location is excellent and staff is friendly. Facilities are good for this value of money
