The only sockets are on the opposite side of the room from the bed. There are stairs inside the room. The room was quite cold even with the heating on.

For those travelling by car, beware. It was said that the hotel has the free parking and that they will take number of our plates upon the arrival. However it is bit deceitful. The hotel does not have its own parking spot, but you can park your car if you find available place free of charge near the hotel outside the city walls (about 5 min walking distance from the hotel). If you cannot find it, which was our case, then you pay public parking, 2eur per h during the business hours. At the end, it is not so much about the money it is about the delivering the right information. And parking was an important item for us while choosing the accommodation.

Small and simple hotel, but the room was spatious and clean and location was great. Little bit tricky to get your way to the hotel by car but the girl from the reception was very helpful and patient explaining to us the road thru phone.

Advertised as free and available parking. The gps to the hotel from Florence took us through narrow parts of the old city which probably violated local access laws for private vehicles. Meanwhile it was reasonably accessible from the other side without competing with the pedestrians. Not sure how getting to the hotel was communicated in advance but if it was then it went over our head. Also, there should be a parking spot to drop off luggage in this adjacent area. The free parking is actually a free public lot located some distance away (maybe 700M) and down below and outside the old city. The problem was that the lot was not that big and it was full and there were loads of cars circling about looking for a spot so my son had to get out and and stand in one when it finally became available. Note the parking lot is also where the buses stop to drop people off for a visit to the old city so I suspect finding a spot in March is a whole lot easier than peak time in spring/summer/fall.

This is an older quaint and basic hotel located at one edge of the old City on the main drag. The staff were great and allowed drop off of luggage and then we got early (11 am) access to the room.

Amazing location, quiet. Great value for money. The first room smelt a bit smoky but the reception staff moved us straight away, no problems. Would stay again.

Th location is perfect. It is right in the middle of the city and they provided breakfast. They also have a depository for your luggage which was perfect for me.

Although in general I liked the place and I recommend, some issues, based on the other reviews long term issues makes it ok for a night but for me wouldn't for more. 1) the Wi-Fi is really really slow in the room. Near reception it's ok, but in the room either disconnecting or the weakest slowest possible. Not cool in 2024. 2) there is no socket near the bed, only the other side of the room. Even an extension would help a lot, this way un comfortable. 3) for my taste the pillows were really poor and the mattrace also not my taste.

Overall, a classical hotel in the old town. The location is perfect - few minutes walk from Piazza del Campo, also numerous cafés, shops and everything is in walking distance. The room size was all okay, bathroom also had everything needed. Nice staff, 0-24 open reception. I recommend this place, good price value with unbeatable location.

I wish the bus to tibertina in Rome left from main square rather than the station.

The electric sockets were very far away from the bed, and there was no extension cord. Another negative was no cover besides blankets, so I was a little cold overnight. Final negative was, that the WiFi didn't reach my bed (I did, however, have 2 bars in the bathroom.

The location is great, the room was okay. It was clean, there were towels and spare toilet paper, so it was nice.

The bed could be a bit more comfortable.

The building had a good charm. It was an old building with very interesting interior. Despite being an old building, the facilities were in good condition. The water pressure was very good and hot water was running perfectly.

Old beds. Dark, small bathroom. Very limited breakfast choices in a window-less room, so walk to Nannini for excellent bkfst choices and ambiance.

Great location. Woman who checked me in was friendly, very helpful and spoke very good English. She suggested the Tiemme bus to FCO and that was an excellent choice. Also held my luggage after check out.

The beds were a little creaky but that is fine, the airconditioning is just a ceilingfan but thankfully keeping the shutters closed will do a lot. The bathroom did not have any ventilaion, so it can get pretty gross in there

The location is amazing! It's right in the centre of the city so you can walk anywere. Our room was quite spacious with high ceilings, even the view (which we didnt book anything special for) was actually quite nice.

The walls were very thin, the room and the bathroom were outdated and very ascetic. The bathroom was very cramped, the room rather narrow, the sockets far from the beds, and the lights reminded those in an operating theatre!

We liked the fact that the location of the hotel was both central and convenient and that the place was clean.
