It was far from the centre which we knew it was only a one night stay but transport in Venice isn’t so cheap so it was quite expensive going back and forth to the centre.

The rooms were spotless, very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly especially the overnight receptionist he was lovely!

The location is very convenient. A bus stop right outside the hotel that takes us to Venice. There is a train station about 10minutes walk away. The hotel provides free parking which is prefect! The breakfast is great!

The room felt a bit too hot even after trying to change the temperature. The fan didn't seem to help much. The path to the train station is unnerving at night as it is badly lit and the area looks rough.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was lovely also. Staff were friendly. The location was very convenient and was only a short bus or train away from Venice.

View from balcony was not great but it provided a place to sit and smoke without having to get dressed and go downstairs. Smart TV in room would be excellent so that guests could stream stations in their native language.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Property is not far from attractions, stores and restaurants but we had a rental car...wouldn't feel the same if we were walking or using public transportation. Room was comfortable and clean. This is an excellent choice if you plan to be our sightseeing all day and coming back to sleep.

Construction in front of the hotel woke us up at 8 am. Mosquitoes (we got bitten even without opening any windows). The cleaning staff isn’t the best. They left dirty dishes in the room.

Excellent location. Bus stop to venice right in front of the hotel. Secure parking available. Nice and cooperative staff who arranged a birthday cake for a service surcharge (10€). Good free wifi.

Clean and friendly. Infront of the hotel there is a bus station and bus number 43 takes you straight to Venice. I you want to take a train then you have a train station 600 m away. Good place to stay.

As a solo traveler, using the train at night can be intimidating, and reaching the hotel from Mestre station was challenging without access to data or Google Maps.

My stay at Hotel Alveri was enjoyable! The staff, especially Carlos, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Carlos made my stay a pleasure with his assistance. The hotel's location was convenient, with essential amenities nearby, and it was clean and well-maintained. Plus, having the bus stop to Venice right outside the hotel was a huge convenience. I had a comfortable and pleasant experience during my stay at Hotel Alveri.

Not much related to hotel itself... The last return bus from Venice departs very early 18:25, so we returned by train. The so called station is just a place at nowhere where you get off the train and than in complete darkness follow dirty road to the hotel... Not an exprience I would recomend.

We were 10. 7 adults 3 kids. The staff was super helpful ! We made a mistake with our order and they took the time to show us everything to solve it. Otherwise the place was clean, breakfast was good, and we were happy.

Very nice hotel, quiet even though it was by the train tracks. The staff was friendly and helpful. We paid 9€ each for the full breakfast. The other choice was 3€ each for just pastry/Italian breakfast. Again very nice. We had a car, but a bus stop was right out the front door of the hotel. The train station was about 1 km away.
