Location was great for us. We wanted to be near the train station. Breakfast was fantastic for the price. The room was wonderful. So comfy and we could see out into the city. They let us check in early and had a bellhop and storage for luggage.

The location was awesome, just a quick 4minute walk from the train station. The staff were lovely and very helpful! The overall vibe was perfect for my first time in Venice. Cute and picturesque. Breakfast was a great bonus!

The bathroom door needs to be replaced (bottom is damaged by water) also a little bad smell comes from the toilet. No Euro / Schuko sockets in the room, only the old Italian L sockets (3 pins on top of each other).

The location is a few minutes walking from the main train station and the main bus station (it helps when you have bigger luggage). The breakfast is very good. The place was clean. The staff was helpful.

Hand wash was finished and not replaced before we came. No tea/coffee/sugar sachets. Water kettles are not allowed due to city safety rule.

Location is good. Size of room and bathroom is good enough for two people. Plenty of pillows and towels provided. Reception was helpful in giving info about local area and travel.

When we arrived there was a power outage in the area. Not the fault of the hotel, but for a 4 star hotel I would have expected a contigency plan to handle such topics. We did not receive any batery lamp or so to manage the very dark room. Luckily the power was restored in the evening. We booked 2 classic rooms, but one of them was really tiny. The other was ok. Same price, very different experience.

Hotel is well located if you are arriving to Venice with train or car. Both the train station and car parkings are close, so you do not need to carry your luggage on long distances. Despite being on the main turistic route it was very quite. There are some restaurances and shops close by.

Liked it all really. Rooms may be a little dated but we liked that and you don't have a view of the water, but it is only a two minute walk to the main canal. Some may find there's not enough variety at breakfast but we enjoyed it.

Location was excellent for sightseeing walks, shops, restaurants and cafes. Close to water taxis and only 10 minutes away from bus and train stations. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel price was good value (breakfast included) compared to many hotels on the island. Reception staff were very helpful offering advice on tours etc.

Rooms are beautiful. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room faced the main street and the windows were sound proof! We got the best of both worlds, great location without the interruption of the noisy street. Fantastic location, only minutes from the station.

Our room was a little worn out and the air conditioner was noisy. Also, duvet cover was weird, more like two sheets apart...?

The staff was exceptionally friendly (especially the waiter from the breakfasts). Our room room was spacey and had a balocony with a view on hotel's patio. Breakfasts were standard but tasty.

I wondered if the other rooms were more spacious. Again, I felt like we were treated second class. Very uncomfortable feeling.

The breakfast was very good. The front desk either had friendly staff or grumpy staff. The room was not in the nice new area of the hotel. It was in what would have been the servants quarters. Were we up there to have a higher view? Or because we did not pay a higher price? The first grumpy receptionist made me feel he was annoyed we were staying there. Gave me a negative vibe for the entire stay. The hotel was very quiet and we slept well. We loved our tours and the sights seen.

Good location. Relaxed atmosphere. Yes, lots of things could be better, a bit rough round the edges (e.g. bathroom seen better days, furniture a bit frayed round the edges, breakfast rather limited) but I liked it! Go with the flow and it's a nice place to stay. Look for the positives and not things to moan about.

Beds and price

Beds were hard, but room was large. Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was quite expensive though for what it was.
