We wish to thank Laura for a wonderful stay in her beautiful Amica Guest House. It is a fabulous place and was very comfortable for our family of 4 to stay in. We loved listening to and looking at the sights of Rome coming alive in the morning as we ate our breakfast on the balcony. We would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking to visit Rome.

Breakfast can be little bit better. Maybe some bread or croasant, instead of toast. Wi fi is weak in some part of room. Very noise at night.

Location is not near the underground station , a bit away from the centre if the bus you stop running suddenly (maybe holiday season and was not regular when we visited) you end up walk. Arrangement for key you need to contact the guest house person before you arrive. remotely given the instruction. no luggage store arrangement as no reception once you check out the property.

A triple room which has 2 rooms with a thin dividing panel door and spacious dinning area with balcony instead, their double room maybe not have that space so we were happy the room we chose (triple). I like some old items on the bookshelves that created the atmosphere living in a flat in Rome in the residential area and quiet place.

Small comfy quite room with balcony, necessary equipment (fridge, TV, coffe machine) and clean bathroom. Wardrobe is bit worn out. Locality of apartment is fantastic - walking distance to the centre of Vatican and the most famous sights, metro is close as well. Breakfast was typicaly sweet but rich. Landlady Laura is very nice and helpful, comunication with her was pleasant.

Wi-Fi was sometimes turned off for a short time.

Everything was satisfactory, the room was cleaned daily, and the breakfasts were updated. Thanks to Laura for the constant communication, she contacted us before our arrival and sent instructions. The hotel is located in a quiet area, there is a bus stop 2 minutes away, and the metro is 5-6 minutes away, which is very convenient.

It was a little bit noisy due to the guests and also the type of the flat (one of those old buildings with poor isolation) TV channels didn’t work.

the placement is really nice, 700 m to metro if you need, 30 minutes by foot to Vatican! The owner was super nice and helpful, we agreed on late night check in (it’s not so common for Italy I need to say), help us with taxi from airport, was friendly with dog (it’s possible to stay with dog there). The breakfast is good, not only sweet as usually in Italy, but eggs, ham/cheese, some extra. It’s nice. We was really happy and glad by standing in Amica Roma, thank you so much! You do a good job and level of service for an affordable price

It is on the second floor of an apartment block about 700M north of Ottaviano Metro station. Access is good and Roberto was very helpful throughout. The Vatican, ST Peters Square is just south of the Metro station.

Decor a little bit gaudy and outdated - but definitely fine to put up with for a few days.

Exactly as described. Brilliant location in the heart of Rome, probably about a 10-15 walk from the Vatican and a 25-30 minute walk from other key tourist sites. The area is quite residential too so away from the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist traps. Air con great (perfect for a Roman summer!) and was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. Great value for money in my view.

The many great breakfast reviews kind of raised the expectations for us. We didn't really have much space to eat the pastry products in the room. But the coffee was great! There were lots of mosquitos in the room, no window nets, and after coming tired in the afternoon from the daily strolls we couldn't rest because we had to kill the mosquitos first. Still I understand that refreshing the space keeping the windows open was the best thing to do to have fresh air in the room. The place needs soundproofing really bad, we could hear anything our neighbours said or if someone left or arrived at the apartment at night we would definitely wake up because of the noise. We had a rather unpleasant situation with one of the staff members. One evening at around 7 pm we contacted the staff member regarding a noise that seemed to be coming from a broken reservoir in the next door bathroom. She said she would come and check it that evening. She didn't come as we were there the whole time waiting for the noise to stop. The noise didn't stop all night and we really had trouble sleeping, woke up very tired in the next morning. We contacted the person and she claimed she was there last night and didn't hear anything. Both us and the neighbors in the next room heard the noise all night. The next morning she said she would come and try to fix it with a technician (after claiming she didn't hear the noise the night before). She came at the regular time they used to clean the rooms - we were in the room all the time as we told her we are going to wait and see if the problem was solved because we really wanted to sleep better the next night. She simply opened the bathroom and closed the water pipe with the issue, no technitian no special help for such a small issue as a running toilet reservoir, yet she claimed she was there the night before and we missed a night's sleep for this matter.

We loved the location, nice calm neighborhood very well connected with the Roman public transport. We loved how clean the room was everyday even if the room itself was rather small.

Some of the other guest were a bit noisy. But that happened a few times during our stay there. In general it was nice and quiet.

Roberto was such an amazing,kind,sweet and friendly host. The area is pretty quiet and safe Far away from the noisy and busy center of Rome but with a metro station nearby. Bed was comfy and Roberto made sure that we had clean bedshits and towels every day. Breakfast was really good.

Breakfast, which unfortunately turned out to be just a muffin, toasted crackers, and jam. The entire breakfast was very basic, so if you're expecting something more substantial, you'll be disappointed.

Quiet and peaceful neighborhood, good public transport links. Clean and pleasant room for a short stay.
