A very warm welcome from Paolo on arrival. Was told I had been upgraded from a standard double room to "a suite," and my suitcase was carried up to my room. Friendly, informative staff and a great breakfast, freshly made to order, on the second floor. The B&B is in a good location, approximately 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Bergamo, away from the noise and bustle. There are a couple of good restaurants/trattoria very close by and a bank across the road. Would highly recommend.

The room was pretty big, it had more space than we needed. The breakfast in the morning is a good thing to have, even though its not included, for 7 euros you can have a good meal without leaving the hotel.

The central courtyard was beautiful with all the room opening onto to it. The shutters on the windows were class. The river running along the back of the rooms was amazing.

Everything! The place is full of character! The breakfast was delicious! The place is also very peaceful and located in a lovely area of the city. The beds were very comfy, so comfy that we were dreading to leave :D The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were lucky to spent our last night in Italy here.

I arrived on a cold wet night after a diabolical Easter weekend weatherwise. I really wanted to get warm and couldn't, because by law the rooms are not allowed to be heated above 19 Deg. I thought a long hot shower would warm me up but the water was also tepid.

I like the character of the building and the large rooms. It is also an easy walk to the station and in an area that is well served with restaurants and a supermarket.

The minibar fridge was making noises at all times. The main door should have a thicker window cover or a curtain to provide better shielding from exterior light (which is also present at night)

Stairs to up to room were a bit demanding with 2 large suitcases.

Short stay between flights. Location in centre of historical Bergamo, but still close to airport is perfect. The palace as a whole and its rooms are an experience. However, not for those who demand the unexpectedness of a standard hotel chain.

We were visiting at the end of February and it was a little bit chilly the first night. The heaters got hot enough the next day and it was fine then :)

Very charming place, lovely rooms with much more flavour than regular, chain hotel rooms. The chiming of the bells from the nearby church was a nice touch. Beautiful inside and outside - the courtyard is beautiful! Very helpful staff and tasty breakfast!

There was nothing I would not like! Amazing place!

Location is perfect, 10mins walk to train station and a lot of restaurants around. Centra next door. Very clean and what I liked most- full mini bar with doft drinks, water and beer and bottle of wine in the room. Carla assisted in every step for check in and out- highly recommended

Small thing, radiators heat rooms at a specific temperature that can't be adjusted & are switched off during night, so you might feel cold in winter.

Lovely hotel, beautifully arranged big rooms, with always hot water and delicious breakfast. Owners were warm & willing to help at any point. Good location, 5min walking from a bus station that leads you to the main train/bus station of Bergamo in 5min.
