Three flights of stairs at the entrance to reception area. No lift. Also I was under the impression by the wording that breakfast was included. This cost €15 a head extra.

Very nice. Very clean. A great view from the breakfast room. Staff very friendly. Spoke good English. Apartment was offered to us in the building next door. This was very spacious. Good bed. Very quiet area even though it's beside the Rialto.

Perfect location right by Rialto bridge. The room was classic Vanician style. Comfy bed. The breakfast room looks over the grand canal and gets the morning sun. Very lovely hotel.

Breakfast was disappointing. Little selection, bread not fresh, cheap yogurt, etc. This wasn't a problem for me, but the hotel is 3 or 4 floors up (depending how you count) and there is no elevator. If you have mobility issues take this into account. The hotel was very clear about the situation and contacted me about this, which I appreciated.

Location - amazing! Right next to Rialto bridge, easy walk everywhere, near two vaporetto stops that bring you anywhere in town Room was very quiet, which was great Friendly staff Lobby staffed 24/7

Hotel is in a great position. Amazing view of the grand canal. Close to local restaurants and easy access to public transport. If we were to come to Venice again I would book this place in a heart beat <3

If you want a suite, know that it is next to the breakfast room - so you will be woken up by the noise of other guests :) Nothing terrible :)

The room was cosy, quiet and very clean and the bed was comfortable and a great shower. The breakfast was really lovely with fresh fruit salad, fresh bread and croissants, plus cooked options with eggs etc. The location was perfect, just next to the Rialto bridge, with an amazing view of the Grand Canal from the breakfast room. The staff were helpful and friendly too.

Nothing, really. It's exactly as advertised, though don't ignore the bit about stairs - there are 69 of them and no lift so knees and heart better be in good nick.

Location is everything here, of course, and overlooking the grand canal you can't go wrong. The room was clean and tidy, quite old-fashioned (no Holiday Inn, this - a good thing!) and staff were universally lovely.

The hair dryer. It was the type fixed to the wall & takes ages to dry hair. Not an issue for us & though warned about the stairs, they do go up three floors in one vertical sweep with no resting places. This could be an issue for some.

We knew in advance that there is no elevator. If this is a concern for you plan accordingly.

Our room and the breakfast room directly overlooks the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Terrific breakfast every morning. Staff helped us plan our trip including a classical Vivaldi-Bach-Mendelssohn concert. Book with confidence that this is an ideal spot for your Venice trip and has its own history since 13th century.

Bed could've been a bit more comfortable but in general it did not affect our amazing trip. The price is quite high for what you get but we still enjoyed ourselves

The beds are too firm for me and the pillows too flat.

This property is everything that a room in Venice should be. I loved the antique decor and roominess of the room. The view of the grand canal and Rialto Bridge are amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to return here for our next stay.

Just the climb up & down the stairs with heavy luggage.

The Location is fabulous! Right on the Rialto bridge and amidst the restaurants. The hotel is probably a 20 mins boat ride from the Venice St Lucia station and bang on the canal. The rooms are tastefully done and the bathroom was very clean too. The staff is very pleasant and on the desk 24x7. To reach the hotel, you grab a water bus from the station (approx 10 euro ride per person) Get down on the stop after Rialto bridge, (I think it must be Sturion) and its a 3-5 min walk to the hotel. The only hitch is you have to carry the luggage up a long flight of stairs as there is no lift. Check in is smooth & quick. The area is buzzing till late and you have plenty of eating out options around. Would definitely come back here again!
