Mr. Agostino is a very careful man and a gentleman. I remember when we checked in the first day, we arrived at the hotel late, but he waited for us downstairs, which was a very considerate behavior. Looking forward to my next visit to this beautiful place. The room was nice and quiet in every way. I also look forward to Agostino's trip to China. I believe the trip to China will make him unforgettable! I recommend this accommodation!

Antica Residenza is a lovely B & B. It is located close to a number of museums, restaurants and historic sights. The rooms and breakfast room spoke of old-warm charm. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the breakfast varied with fruits, yogurt, breads and meat. The coffee was great - rich and dark. Our host, Agostino was delightful - interesting, informative, and helpful. This place is a gem which we highly recommend.

I can't think of anything bad to be honest.

It was literally perfect. The room was beautiful, near the city center (you just had to get out of the building and in 50m you would enter the city center). We didn't even need to use the public transport. Besides renting a car for one day, we went on foot everywhere. Besides that, Agostino was the best host I've ever met. Very kind and helpful, he was always there for anything we needed. The breakfast and coffee were pretty good too.

Great location, very clean and the host was friendly and offered tips for what to see. We received fruits daily in our room which was really nice. We enjoyed our stay here.

We had a terrific stay at this palace in the historic Old World area of Bologna. Awesome location and gracious host who’s really accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Our room was very big and with excellent decoration, very clean, with housekeeping every day. The beds are very comfortable and linen brand new. It is located in the centre of Bologna, five minutes walk from Piazza Majore and all major sites. Mr. Agostino is a great host,very helpfull he welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a free bar. He also offers very nice breakfast. Overall, it exceeded our expectations.

Exceptional experience! Feeling like at home. Ancient interior and furniture. The accommodation is located very close to the city center, but at the same time in a quiet street. The host Augustino was very friendly and helped in each step - called a taxi and recommended a restaurant. The coffee in the morning was just amazing. Thank you so much for such an experience :)

The whole property needs maintenance and a good tidy up as there is a lot of clutter which makes it seem smaller than it is.

It is an old apartment which is well furnished. Our room was large, and everything worked. The area is quiet and an easy walk to the centre. Breakfast was good, and Agostino was charming and very helpful.

I saw very little of the other guests but probably because I was usually out early and returned late in the evening.. Nothing to dislike or complain of about the establishment.

Very characterful establishment - decor was most attractive and interesting but also very comfortable and homely. Agostino was a very attentive, helpful and pleasant host. He created a warm and hospitable atmosphere. My room and facilities were kept immaculately clean. I liked being able to make tea and coffee in my room and having a fridge to keep milk and drinks cool. Agostino very generously provided complimentary water, milk and a bottle of wine. Even more, he realized it was my birthday and produced cake with a candle, which was lovely!

The B&B is charming as is the host/owner. The building has an elevator. The small patio overlooking a shared garden was a bonus. The coffee and European breakfast kick started your morning for a day of sightseeing. We had the room with twin beds and private bathroom. I peaked in at the other rooms and they were also lovely. The location is perfect with various shops up and down the street but still quite. We would stay again.

It was an excellent stay, we had everything we need. The room was very clean and comfortable. Agostino the host is very very kind , he offers us fresh fruits and wine at our check in. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. We had early in the morning check out and Agostino was there to help us, to make us a coffee and to say goodbye. Totally recommended it!! The only I can say is the shower was not the best could have been a bit better but certainly did not put us off.

Clean and very comfortable very good location for sight seeing. Host was helpful and pleasant I would definitely recommend it. We will certainly go back back to Bologna and would definitely stay at this accommodation again.

I spontaneously decided to come to Bologna and was immediately charmed by this place. My room, Camera Rossa, was very beautifully decorated, spacious, and quiet, even though my window was next to the street. Agostino was a great host, always making sure nobody is lacking anything. He was able to give some great advice on where to eat or go, which was helpful regarding my spontaneous trip and my lack of planning on what to do/where to eat. Within a couple of minutes, you are in the centre of the city and can explore all the important and interesting things. I can’t wait to come back again.

We spent 7 days at Antica Residenza and it was excellent! The host - Agostino - was very welcoming and thoughtful. Being welcomed by him everyday with delicious breakfast (sandwiches with prosciutto, cheese, cornettos, coffee, juice) was definitely a highlight and a perfect start of the day. We needed to check in earlier and check out very late - absolutely no problem with that. The room was cleaned very precisely every two days. We were so lucky to get the 'Camera Azzurra' with a view on the beautiful garden. The AC was working very well. We recommend this place to everyone, especially for a romantic trip. We can't imagine choosing better :)

Large and very clean room, close to city center, quiet even thou is near a busy road. The room was cleaned every other day and in the fridge were complementary drink. The owner also kind enough to arrange an early check-in and also a later check out. Very good coffee and fresh local produce at breakfast.
