Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

HungaryThe air conditioner is really loud because the external and internal units are together inside the room so that the external unit does not spoil the street view. Everything is almost perfect, but somehow there is a feeling of neglect, for example, the rusty fences and metal structures. The bed wasn't the realy good and the bathroom in our accommodation was very crowded, for example you couldn't open the door properly from the bidet!
The resort is beautiful, with lush vegetation and the internal bus route (Boboi) is also a special experience. The animals roam freely (rabbits everywhere🐇), the thematic beaches are amazing, the sea is full of fish, it's really not worth leaving here, because it satisfies all your needs! It can be an excellent choice for families!

DenmarkSame, simple breakfast every day. English level of the staff (apart from the reception). Staff should be more professional. Loud air conditioning.
Location, beaches, whole resort available, bar at every pool, warm croissants at breakfast, guy with beard baking bread at the pool <3

IrelandStaff consists of very young people who seem not to interact when given instructions That was our opinion.
The complex is fantastic however the wobbly street areas took some getting used to. Then the steps you'd need to be a mountain goat to negotiate them. The buffet style meals were OK

MaltaThere are no signs for the hotel. The balcony door in our room did not lock. We were not informed from before about all the facilities that the resort offered. Only 2 restaurants in the whole resort, one of which offers a buffet of €25pp or a le carte with a minimum spent of €60.
The stewards who picked us up were really nice and helpful. Resort is very nice although it needs some upgrades. Breakfast was fine. View from our room was spectacular.

United KingdomA bit chavvy. The place where you eat is a huge que and everyone waiting like at school. Great for families and couples who want to socialise and drink but not luxury or good for quiet time. The room was also very very basic

Quiet and relaxed atmosphere in September, choice of pools and beaches. Buffet had plenty of choice and was decent quality. Great place to unwind and relax for a couple of days at the start of our holiday

United KingdomYou definitely need a car if you plan to leave the resort, which we had planned for, there isn't much to see or do in the local town with the odd restaurant in walking distance, so long as you can manage steep hills! The food at breakfast was plentiful but covered in wasps, as far as buffet breakfasts go it was good. Evening meals at the resort were not for us, with almost all restaurants buffet style, and none of it appeared very Italian or Sardinian, fine for families for ease but not worth the additional money for just B&B.
We had a room with a beautiful sea view, and a big balcony, which was perfect and we used it a lot. The resort was relaxed and service was good and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities available including a daily walk of the nature reserve to meet all the animals with the ranger, complete with local cooked bread tasting to finish. The resort itself is on a very beautiful peninsula with several stunning beaches and as a guest you get access to all hotel facilities within the resort (including the quirky Boboi bus!). Having read some negative reviews of the accommodation before arriving we didn't have the highest expectations but these were exceeded, so long as you appreciate a bit of rustic Italian decor, are fit and able to manage the hills and appreciate the views on offer with a little uphill walking and aware that abit of TLC could increase the standard, this is well worth a stay and good access to the stunning Baunei coast.

United KingdomThe buffet restaurant at Borgo is supbar, very expensive for food that is quite low quality and made us unwell after eating it. We only ate there once because of it. Food in pizza restaurant in the lower half of the resort was a good second option as was the beach bar for snacks/paninis but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance in Cagliari you can go to instead,
Hotel is beautiful as are the beaches and pools, staff are very friendly & helpful We took advantage of the spa facilities - massage was fantastic as was most of the spa but it could use a little bit of upkeep here and there

MaltaSome of the rooms at the Cala Moresca are bit dated, no WiFi (ONLY available at the reception/restaurant), would also expect coffee/tea making facilities now days; rooms need to be ventilated and provided air freshners, ac is loud too. Breakfast was a bit limited to my liking ( no poached eggs although the chef was making scrambled/fried eggs or omlet; crepes were also not available); croissants were average. As for dinner, you are lucky if you like seafood as if not this was also a bit limited (on a Friday ie when they have fish day the option to chose was plain pasta or vegg which I found rather disappointing), deserts during dinner were unfortunately awful..
The location was great, ample parking slots and most of staff (the lady at the Cala Moresca reception and Graziano and Simone from Turri were fabulous!).

AustriaThe internet/wifi connection could have been better on the room, but as we went there to relax it was nice to take some time for ourselves.
The room had a beautiful view to the coast - thanks to Francesco. We were warmly welcomed in the resort and most of the personal were very nice. The personal in the bar next to the pool were very friendly also. The room was cleaned every day, the air conditioner was functioning properly and silently. Every day Messiwa has granted us great breakfast and dinner - the sweets were amazingly good. The food was always fresh and tasty with a lot of options to choose from. During our stay we met a lot of nice and great people there, it will be a life long good memory for us.

Czech Republicfor heaven's sake, please add wifi to your rooms. drastically improve the quality of your breakfast. something you can't change, but which i do not appreciate, is that you say "beachview" in your description whereas the beach is far, far away.
the location is breathtakingly beautiful. the people working there are helpful and kind. the animals in the resort are surprising, well taken care of and give a genuinely rustic atmosphere to the stay.

SlovakiaBreakfast is very basic only but you will not stay hungry. Evening entertaiment in amphitheatre is very loud and program took longer than 23:00. I do not understand why for not more than 30 guest sitting in 2 first rows it needed to be on maximum volume like on big open air concert. And the windows does not isolate well.
It is a big park hotel resort on a hill divided in more parts. We were only in part Borgo cala moresca. We had 2 connected rooms close to main reception, restaurant, pool with good bar, so more than enough space for 4 people. Very green and nice place with nice pools ( it is not easy to keep them ultra clean due to the lot of green and flowers around, but the are well keept and cleaned more times a day). Entry to the see is from rocks or molo. 12 minutes walk down to Arbatax port area with more good restaurants around an possibility to book boat trips or rent a boat and explore Calas in gulf of Orosei. Very nice part of the hotel park is the area with lot of animmals. Two long sandy beaches 10 minutes drive. Area is very nice, it is absolutely not overcrowded. You can find on different teraces a lot of private space.

RomaniaIt s not necessarily a dislike, but we didn t know this and had most of our money cash. Around the resort you can only pay by card or with a chip that you can get from the reception and you can charge it with the amount of money you want.
The resort is amazing and very big. It s amplasated on a high cliff and the view is perfectly splendid! The food there was very good and had various kind of foods even for the picky ones. Notice that around the resort there are not many restaurants ( only at 5-10 mins by car in Arbatrax or Tortoli), so i would say if you don t have a car to drive around the resort, you can choose to eat there for 25 euros/person ( if you don t choose the half-board option). Don t worry if you don t have a car to go to the restaurants near the resort for lunch/dinner and you only chose the breakfast option like us, they still have a lot of bars in the resort which serves apperitives, sandwiches and drinks. Also notice that outside the resort, most of the restaurants and shops in the villages near by are closed from 13.00 (1 pm) - 18.00 / 19.00 ( 6 / 7) pm. Also in the resort you will find some of their restaurants that only serve breakfast + dinner (not lunch), and a pizzeria. The staff were very well prepared and very kind to us, making the most out of our stay. I would definitely recomand this resort.

IrelandWe have booked superior room, the room didn’t reflect pictures on booking. It was much smaller. Also we have ants in our room, couldn’t leave any food in the room. In general place is nice for couple nights.
It’s lovely resort, just right by the sea. Surounded by beautiful nature, trees and flowers. You can paddle on the SUP or kayak free of charge. Food was ok. It’s very hilly there so if you are not fit or have some injuries might be very hard to walk. Didn’t bother us but just in case.

NetherlandsThe bed was quite hard, and the restaurants in the park are very pricey when compared to the quality of the food served.
The park has a lot to offer, and has a nice beach attached. The highlight are the friendly animals roaming the park. The staff is very helpful.
