Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A few broken things like the tap spraying all around and the ac making weird noises all night. We expected that. The lack of a mini fridge in the heat of August.
Location, clean(ish), comfortable bed. Met expectations for a 1 star hotel. Minimalistic with a few odd things here and there but we were prepared for it, and knew it would not be top level. Could leave luggage before check in and after check out which was great

The location is good, but the entrance to the hotel is unusual - there is no notice of the hotel existence from the street. The reception desk is also not promising, the wifi code is written by hand on a piece of paper that you have to take a photo of :-). Room was OK, which is most important :-).

No wardrobe in the room (209).
Pleasant and helpful reception staff, close to supermarkets, and the railway station plus the main tourist sites. The room was clean, spacious and the air conditioning was very welcome.

The room definitely needs a renovation and to be honest the shower was broken. But overall was ok just for one night. The location is really good though.

In a hot country in the middle of the summer it's UNEXEPTABLE not to have a refrigerator in the room.
Very close to the center and you can park the car in the street near with ticket.

Only thing i didnt like is lack of kettle or fridge . Internet bit unstable ,otherwise all good
The hotel is very central in location , rooms are spacious and clean and beds are comfy. The staff is very polite and helpful ,Sofia at the reception was very kind when i got sick on my last day and all the others were helpful too

There was mould in our bathroom and there was a strong smell of some greenery substance in the hallway of our rooms.
The location was really good and walking distance to everything. The staff were really nice and accommodating to some personal needs.

reception was open 8am-8pm if by any chance we reached after 8 pm at the first day, we could not enter the property as there was a lock. Beds were thick not comfortable

I don't know if there were any breakfasts, they were not listed when I booked the hotel and never mentioned by the staff so I got by on my own. But that's ok. What shocked me most is that my room had no surfaces to put things on! No proper table, no chair, no nothing (there was enough space for these). Instead of the bedside tables there were small planks of wood attached to the wall and occupied by table lamps. As a result you have to put most of your things on the floor or look for some unexpected places to put your things on. Similar situation in the bathroom. The shelf in the bathroom is crooked or something so whatever you place on it will roll down right into the sink that has a huge hole in the middle so you can easily lose your things forever. No cup to put a toothbrush in. The wardrobe had no door and there is no space to put away your suitcase. No water, no glass for water in the room. No cooler outside - absolutely nowhere to get water, let alone make tea. No proper duvet is offered (in February). A bedsheet on top of which you put some kind of a blanket which you have no idea who touched before you. If you want to take shower you have to wait for some minutes before the water becomes warmer. Obviously, no fridge and no safe.
For this price the hotel was good. The location was perfect for my trip. It was next to Castelvecchio which I came for, it was not noisy, the center is very close, the supermarket is nearby, train station is a 15 min walk. The staff were very friendly and were always ready to help, never dismissed any question or request. The room was regularly cleaned. There are only 3 floors but there is a nice elevator.

Some international news channels should be provided in Verona city centre. The price is just ok for a hotel that doesn't provide breakfast, there are better options not far away. Soap dispensers in room 106 should be looked after.
I have been positively surprised after the first sight of an oldish/non prominent building. Everything was ok and beyond expectation, the large comfy bed, the big screen tv and the working space which I was too tired to use. I also appreciated the no-hassle check-in.

Only shower. The rest was good. Nice and friendly staff. Would recomend to other people this place to stay.
The only thing that was bad is broken shower 🚿. That needs to be changed. Thea rest was good and comfortable. Location is great. Easy to access. Would come back. Good price.

No kettle or cups to make tea. Room could do with fresh lick of paint. Toilet seat was slightly damaged on one side.
Location fab for Castle and city centre and 20 minute walk from train station. Good for one or two nights. Room very simple but clean. No breakfasts. Staff friendly. Good value budget room.
