Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe lift served six floors of busy rooms so at times the wait was long unless you used the stairs
Ideal for the station but just a little too far to walk for the centre . However great value , good facilities , will go again if in town

United KingdomArk Hotel is in a rather bleak location, surrounded by a network of fast roads. There aren't many restaurants or bars nearby but a fairly short walk brought us to the city centre where there are numerous eating out options.
Situated a short walk from the main railway and bus stations, from where a frequent bus service to the airport departs, Ark Hotel is also close to the historic city centre. Our bedroom was clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Easy check-in. All in all, it is a good choice for a short stay in Verona.

IrelandIt would be nice if there was somewhere shady to sit outside. There are chairs but no parasols.
The hotel has a secure car park for 10 euro per night and is a short walk to the older parts of the city. Breakfast had a good choice and our room was quiet despite the hotel being near main roads. We've stayed here before and would stay again.

United KingdomNo coffee in the room - only tea. I took Nescafé sachets for the whole group. Worth it.
I was impressed with this hotel. Staff were great, breakfast was decent and the Air Con was very good and it was spotless. It is modern hotel located a very short walk from the train station - 10 mins stroll and a 15 minute walk into Verona.

United KingdomHad an issue with our first room that flooded (blocked shower) the bathroom and bedroom. Thankfully enough spare rooms to move to a new one!
Great, modern room, quiet and good location near the train station. 15 minute walk to the centre. Staff at breakfast deserve a special mention - really helpful and friendly!

Thailand- There is a thing that I would not say I don't like but it is the recommendation. In case that the client deposit the bag before check-in time and they will come back later after check-in time. It would be better if the staff ask if the clients want their bags to be ready at the room once the clients come back. This is one of the services that can be expected from the 4-star hotel. It is an extra service that make clients a first impression, better than deposit the luggages at the counter and let the customers carry their own luggage to their room. I would say this is not a bad thing, but just the recommendation to the hotel for better services.
- Hotel closes to the Verona Porta Nuova station, but it's a bit far from the city center and main tourist attrations. It's nice for the travellers who would like to stay near the main train/bus station for easy transit. - Breakfast was very good. Variety and fresh. Staffs taking care for the breakfast were nice.

United Arab EmiratesNo pool, not really an issue but would of been e a nice to have.
Lovely room, modern and pristine clean, nice bathroom and all amenities were there that i needed. Easy walk less than 10 mins from/to the train station, great for my needs as touring italy by train. The walk into Verona Old City took me around 17 mins which was of no concern for me, also all flat so an easy walk.a great location if planning to use Verona as your base to visit Lake Garda and Venice as i did. If i return to Verona will certainly use this hotel again.

United KingdomToo far to walk in and out of Verona especially on a very warm day , more like a business hotel. There is a kettle in the room but no coffee, you have to buy it from reception. We were waiting for our taxi to leave and I asked for a glass of water from a machine we had used at breakfast . The abrupt lady on reception (lady with long dark hair) shouted across to me that I had to buy the bottle of water as she was not allowed to give me the free one ! There were some lovely staff but we felt this could have been dealt with differently! Also what a mean hotel group , we would not stay here again.
Very clean and with a lovely breakfast.
