Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe lift is too small 😀.
Driss was very friendly ,looked after us and also provided us with useful information regarding buses and trains. The room was clean and comfortable. The B&B is very close to St Peters Basilica and also easily accessible to other attractions.

RomaniaThe breakfast was not very good, with no too many options and the most surprising was that almost all the things on breakfast was "sugar" friendly: Juice, yogurt, croissants. Could be better if served some vegetables together with that sandwich. The shower and bath was quite small, if you're the person with XL size you might have difficulties. 2nd host (lady) was a little bit quite and told us that the fruits (bananas) are limited and since my wife ate at breakfast together with yogurt, she could not bring with her on the way, especially that we travelled with a toddler +2years and he could eat that fruits later on.
1st host (men) was a very kind of person, with small always on his face, speaking 4 languages and trying to archive your desires. Location is very close to Basilica St Peter (5 min walk). Was clean all the time.

CanadaAmazing property and the host. Big thanks to Dris for everything – kindly waiting for us when we had an unexpected train delay, preparing breakfast every morning, keeping the facility spotless and even packing us a breakfast on the day of departure. The location is great; even if it is far from subway, bus stations are close (2-5 mins) and the Vatican is literally 5 min walk away. The area is safe. Absolutely great value. I cannot wait to be back and highly recommend it.

PolandThe room was comfortable overall, and we had a pleasant stay. However, in Room 1 there was a step up from the bathroom floor to the area with the toilet, sink, and shower. While this wasn’t an issue for me personally, I was concerned about my mum, who is older, and often uses the toilet during the night. I felt a bit anxious that she might trip or fall. For guests with limited mobility or older adults, this design could be challenging and potentially unsafe.
The place is in a perfect location. It’s an easy ride from Termini Station — just take bus 64 to the St. Peter’s Piazza stop (about 30 minutes), followed by a 5–7 minute walk. The B&B itself is ideally situated, only a short walk from St. Peter’s Square, right in the heart of the Vatican area. Considering the location, it offers excellent value for money. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The property is clean and features a well-equipped kitchen, fridge, and even a vending machine. The male host who prepared breakfast most days was always polite, smiling, and quick to serve. On our last day, however, breakfast was handled by a woman who was noticeably slower — we had to ask for eggs, wait quite a while for coffee, even though there were only four people waiting. The room was spacious, had a balcony, a comfortable bed, and was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom, and we had access to the kitchen, kettle, and other amenities.

SpainMy wife, two children (13 and 16) and I spent four days in Rome. The room was excellent in terms of space, organization, and cleanliness, and the beds were comfortable. The hospitality and friendliness of the hotel manager are very important. We were warmly welcomed. The breakfast was simple, delicious, and impeccable!

United StatesWalking up the 15 steps to the lift with luggage is a problem. It is very far from other sites. More choices for breakfast, like fried or scrambled eggs. No washing machine to do laundry or a drying rack.
There are 5 rooms around a central kitchen. It is on the first floor. There are 15 steps to walk from the street to get to the lift. The breakfast is almost the same every morning with boiled eggs, sandwich rolls, pastry, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices and coffee. The guy in charge (Driss) is very nice, polite and extremely helpful. It is close to the Vatican, but very far from other sites. Take the Trenitalia train from Rome international airport to Roma Trastevere station and then a train to Roma S. Pietro station. The place is around 2 blocks walking distance from the station.

UkraineWonderful hotel, we had only positive impressions! I would especially like to thank Dress (apologies if I spelled the name incorrectly) — he was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any question. On the day of our departure, he even prepared an early breakfast for us, which we really appreciated. Such a warm welcome and great care for the guests — we will definitely come back again!
