How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Verified reviewThe location is amazing, love to ski in and out. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food and dining service were wonderful with a delicious varied menu every night. The spa was beautiful and perfect for a long day on the slopes.
The rooms are noisy and you can hear people in adjoining rooms. There is nowhere to go to escape noisy children if you don't have children yourself and you just want a quiet drink somewhere. The kids entertainment every night is right next to the bar area so kids running around and Baby Shark playing at top volume! Not very relaxing. You're allocated a dining table where you spend every meal for the duration of your stay, in our case we were in a corner between 2 tables that didn't speak a language that we knew so there was no chance to speak to other people and socialise at meal times which I would have preferred.

Verified reviewExcellent location, you can ski directly to the hotel. Very good ski storage facility, and the hotel has its own ski rental. Very nice sauna and spa. Very nice stuff, great cook was checking every evening whether we like the dinner.
The rooms were rather old fashion, especially the bathrooms. So it was below the standards in my view. Also the breakfasts, (before the whole day of skiiing) could have been a bit better, comparing to very rich and diversified dinners.

Verified review1 night stay walking the Alta Via 2 Heavenly! Single room was basic but clean and with en-suite. Zero complaints. Loved the wellness area - multiple sauna/steam rooms, pool, all amazing and included with the stay, just what was needed for aching muscles EXCELLENT dinner and breakfast buffet - absolutely outstanding choice and quality of food. And they have an in-house gelateria :) Totally recommend

They had a lot of selection to have — cereals, scrambled eggs, meat / deli selections, fruit, different kinds coffee / teas and juice, and assortment of pastries along with table service. The different types of Saunas were great, very relaxing especially after hiking.
I did not like the idea of mandating to wear head cap to swim in the pool — had to purchased one for €2,50.

Staff wasn't professional at all. Booked for 3 nights, but could not get there for the first. Phoned them in advanced and arrived for the second. There was no problem with check in, but the reception said, I will be charged the whole booking price. Next day, different receptionist also stated this. Only after showing them the booking conditions they agreed to make a 50% discount on the first night. This is lousy customer service. I'm 186 cms, not a giant, the bed was 185, like a childs bed. Very uncomfortable.

The double bed was two single beds put together with a giant gap in the middle. The beds themselves were rather uncomfortable. The room size was rather small.

Verified reviewFood, the food in hotel was really great, different taste every night with really nice arrangement of the food and really pleasent staff who were doing their best to deliver food on time even when the hotel was full.
The menu was in Italian, and sometimes in English, and that you have to pay for still water, but not for juice... The hotel is in need of renovation of the rooms. We were on top floor but the windows were really old and you could hear every car passing by as the windows did not seal and the glazing was bad.
