    nothing really

Elegant old world charm - but brought up to date in terms of bathroom, wifi, furniture. Friendly staff. Great sea view from large rooftop terrace, and from our balcony.

The bathroom was a little dated and the shower leaked all over the floor in our room. There was a ceiling fan but it does get very hot in the summer so proper air conditioning might have been slightly better. Breakfast was quite old school with only a croissant and a small selection of cereals and fruits.

The hotel is a beautiful traditional building, located right in the centre of Bordighera, only a five minute walk from the public beach. The staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was comfortable and clean with a lovely view. The hotel also has a roof terrace that is open to all guests which is open and spacious and has the most amazing view of the town, the mountains and the sea. I thought it was very good value for what we paid.

Be carefull of the lack of parking places when the motel is full.

We keep in mind the great view from the room, the "old fashioned" style of the place & the lovely people🇮🇹 we met.

The staff were really fantastic and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. A short walk to the sea front, this hotel is excellent value for money. I would surely stay here again.

Located about 5 mins walk uphill from the beach so had a beautiful view over the town and sea, esp from the roof terrace, where no-one went but myself! Very old-fashioned - got a handwritten bill at the end of my stay - but lovely staff and I had a lovely few days there.
