Even the breakfast is prepared by myself with various bread , ham & cheese , it is good enough with kitchenette and manual juice crusher is so wonderful. So wonderful location to access all neighbor town and overlooking Pienza is just less than 10 min drive. As it is located in back road, in the night it has less noisy and feel tranquilize night life. And I enjoyed starry night. On the way back hom from Montepulciano, I could enjoy gorgeous sunset nearby Monticchiello & Barbi. Next time I would take a walk in some route of Val D'orcia and Francigena ..

It was a bit dark in the apartment due to small windows. And if it would be renovated it would be even better but for that price unbeatable!

I liked everything.

I stayed at Agroturismo Barbe for two nights in Septembre 2023 in a now bedroom appartment. The owner Vilmo welcomed me when I arrived and very quickly did the checkin. The appartment was superb ! It was clean, very well equipped (the kitchen had every possible appliance, very impressive). There was plenty of food in the fridge and in the kitchen for two breakfasts and even a lunch or two. The appartment was simply and tastefully furnished but very comfortable with everything I needed. The view was astounding and the area is very quiet. There is a garden with tables outside with a wonderful view of the Tuscan landscape and one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. I would be delighted to spend a week there in the future. Thanks a million !!!

The most beautiful view of the Pienza and the valley. Amazing. Our room was on the other side, so we didn't have the sun over, and it was very nice, not very hot, so we slept well. The breakfast included is really nice, you can eat what you feel like, salty or sweet.

They initially felt isolated as they didn’t have a car. Although family was nearby so they relaxed but also spent time away from the apartment.

This was booked for my elderly parents to attend our sons wedding locally. It was ideal for them and found their stay superb, with great facilities. Food was also provided. A great host.

Agriturismo Barbi was amazing! Beautiful, clean apartment with an incredible view. Vilmo was an excellent host. He welcomed us upon check in and was available if we had any questions througout our stay. The basket of food was a very nice touch so we could cook breakfast each morning before heading out for the day. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Monticchiello.

The view is breathtaking. The host Vilmo is super nice and will give you plenty of tips. The location has such an abundance of places to see around that it is best to stay at least 3 nights, a week ideally. Go eat dinner at Daria restaurant nearby. Michelin quality. Highly recommended place and we will most likely come back in some time.

Everything- the location, the facilities. The apartment was clean with a very homely vibe and the away from the crowd and right in the centre of Val d’Orcia. It’s a great place to explore Tuscany and the sunsets that you get to witness here are simply stunning. The breakfast was amazing and the hospitality of the host, Mr Barbi, is par excellence- with suggestions of what to do and where to go, apart from constantly being in touch with us. They also gave us some discount vouchers for restaurants and spas around us. It was a fantastic stay and is highly recommended.
