Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandI was really disappointed with the food! It was all very basic food and flavours. The cooking for dinner lacked how delicious Italian food can be. Sorry.....
The property was beautiful. Without your own car the location is far from everything.

LithuaniaThe room service was not good - there was a pile of dust under the table and the beds, and the empty tiny bottles of shampoo were not replaced once they were used.
The location and the staff. The garden is very nice.

ItalyVivi Natura is not in a particularly walkable area of Pompei, especially for families with kids. If you are staying here and want to see sights such as Pompeii Scavi or Ercolano Scavi, your options are to rent a car or take a taxi. I wish they had a shuttle to the train station at the very least - that would have made our already great stay perfect. I also wish that the resident cats had better veterinary care - some looked to have eye infections, and I’m not sure if any were neutered. Otherwise the cats did look fairly well taken care of. Bring bug spray! The mosquitoes were thick at dusk and into the night.
Vivi Natura was perfect for families with kids! So much to do to keep little ones occupied, including seeing the farm animals, petting the resident cats, and playing on the playground. In the summer the pool would be welcome too! The restaurant was excellent - the free breakfast was light but very good. Dinners were superb, with delicious food in large portions, at very reasonable prices. The gnocchi alla Sorretina was so, so good. It seemed as though our bathroom had been recently remodeled and, while tiny, was very nice. The air conditioner in the room worked very well which was much appreciated. Finally, we had requested a cot since we have a one year old - it was not a simple pack n play with a hard mattress! I was thrilled to see that the cot mattress was closer to an actual crib mattress. My daughter slept perfectly. In all, I would highly recommend Vivi Natura!

NorwayThe pool is great and luckily also open in late September. The restaurant was unfortunately closed during our stay. Breakfast was not elaborate, but sufficient. Room nice and clean, bunk bed plus doublebed accommodated all four. Nice, new bathroom. The guys living there went about their day gardening and other chores, friendly but let us be in peace.

United KingdomLovely pool. Very pleasant grounds too - especially good for young children as there is a play area and small animal area with horses, cows, goats, rabbits etc. Plus a great veg patch. Food was good - fresh and homecooked. Small fridge in room was also a bonus.

Immerse in the nature and 10 mins from the Pompei Archeological Park, ideal for families. Restaurant is simple but pretty good quality.

United KingdomAir conditioning in our room was broken. Staff managed to get it working after 20 minutes or so. Beds were very hard and not particularly comfortable. It was in more of a built up area than I expected for a farm stay type business.
Breakfast was good and pool area was nice

United KingdomThe breakfast could offer little more extra choices, for example more variety of fresh fruits, cereals and granola and it would be lovely to have a bar-alike coffee or capuccino
The nice swimming pool, the little farm with lots of different animals, the “being at home vibe”

IsraelSeems like it was easier for the staff to communicate with the locals other than the English speaking crowd. I was never approached during breakfast if I wanted a different kind of coffee where the waitress always approached the Italian tables offering it. Not really walkable to anything but wasn't a big deal. Also closet space in the room. None really, a hanging closet in a room for 4 ppl wasn't ideal.
The place is an oasis in the middle of the city. Kids loved the animals, the pool and the playground. A lot of running space for kids and a great place to take day trips around the area. Free parking was great!

North MacedoniaThe rooms for 4 people were very tight, it was basically a room for 2 people with extra two beds so it could fit 4. The wifi was terrible, rarely any connection, mostly late at night when everyone was asleep I assume. Far from the city centre, we walked the first day and took a taxi every day after that.
Staff was very pleasant and helpfull, they had a big beautiful garden and a pool.

GermanyIf you did not drive, the nearest bus is a 30+min walk, a taxi from the airport will close you 70€ or you can take a train/bus+30min walk. There also wern't any areas to buy water between 10pm-9am (buy at pool) unless you took a taxi/bus+walk into town, NO UBERS of any kind.
We loved the ambiance, the views were amazing from the hotel, the pool was beautiful and the staff was very polite and curious.

United KingdomThe rooms were not that tidy, they definitely didn't get cleaned daily. The hotel needed a new lease of life there were plenty of areas to sit but other than the one main area they all looked run down. It could be a really beautiful place, quaint family fun but it was the little things that let it down. We also would have loved to been able to make coffee in our rooms to enjoy the view of Vesuvius with a coffee on the balcony in the morning but there was not coffee making facilities.
We loved being able to walk to Pompeii although the walk would not be for everyone. The roads are narrow and the drivers quite fast. We liked the pool but wish it was more shallow. The rooms having a balcony made socialising in the evening easy. The family run business gave it a nice feel but you did sometimes feel you were intruding. We did really enjoy our stay and would recommend this hotel to friends. Although it sounds like a negative review we did enjoy our stay.

CanadaCabin rooms could use some updates. Bunks were a bit uncomfortable (especially the ladder) and shower was ok, not great. Location demands taxis. The trampoline is showing its age and the football pitch is a tad rough.
