Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The host couple is amazing! They are friendly, accommodating and respond quickly. If you are with a car you can drop off your luggages right next to the door. There is paid underground parking 1min away. Apartment is clean, it has a small fridge, bed is comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen next door as well. Beach is a few min walk away. Good breakfast spots and restaurants around.

The room, toilet, towels and sheets were very clean and tidy. Location was central. Staff were quite friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. 10/10

A little bit noisy during the morning, our neighbours woke us up. Also, we couldn’t leave our luggage anywhere to store it the day we had to vacate the property, so once we checked out we had to find another locker.
Pretty clean property and it had everything it needed in terms of utilities.

The bed was ok for a few nights. Not great but not the worst, it was fine. The shower temperature changed from very hot to cold while in use. The noise from the other guests, and the rattling of our door when people came in and out of the hallway was very distracting. We always thought someone was coming in. But it was New Years Eve so we understand people are out and about on such a busy weekend. But the walls were very thin.
Claudia was fantastic. She was helpful, sent me info about the town prior to arrival, checked in on us, spoke some English, and was just so sweet. The room was in a great location. Plenty of space inside for two people. The closet was convenient, everything smelled nice, the mini fridge was great for us, and the TV had some shows in English (not sure if that was on purpose but we were excited).

Great for a night or two, I stayed 5 nights needed more space. They have a larger place with a kitchen unfortunately was booked for time I went

Quiet in spite of a very central location. Great communication with the host Claudia. A small hotel where they do their best to accomodate all needs.

Room was quite small.
Place owners were really friendly and helpful. The room is small, in the base floor so it is easy to reach, no stars or lifts. Quite, silent and not hot. AC in the room. Location is perfect, near the main centre streets but in a peaceful neighbourhood. We got a good parking space for out motorcycle.

Camere Chica was an amazing stay. Our room was small, but it has everything we needed. The room was very clean when we arrived. There is an AC, for which we were grateful when coming back to the room. The room is conveniently located, very close to lots of shops, restaurants and the beach. Claudia is an amazing host - from the beginning she was very attentive, responding quickly to our messages and helping us as much as she could. Thank you Claudia, we would definitely stay again with you!

Just perfect!
Perfect location close to the port, restaurants, shopping. We especially liked the communication with Claudia prior to our arrival and upon check-in. Our bikes were perfectly safe and the rooms are within a gated community that is quiet at night. The restaurant tips were great!

The door has big gaps around it, offering no sound insulation from guests in the hall and other rooms. The furniture is low quality with a table that's not flat. The room and bathroom are very small.
Very clean room with a comfortable bed in a great location.
