Rita is the perect hostess - she met us at check in and ensured we were happy, and also served breakfast each morning. There is parking on the outer road of Orbetello and you can get a parking permit when you check in so you only need to pay for 30mins whilst you find Il Gabbiano, ask for permit and then go back to dispay it in your car. We had a generously sized room with a lovely shower room. The main square is 30 seconds from the front door, and there are lots of great restaurants and bars to choose from once you have completed your evening's passegiatta!

The apartment is very close to the main square so there was some noise late into the evening - but thats not a criticism of the accommodation, just for information!

I absolutely loved my stay! The property was spotless and a great size – really comfortable and spacious. The shower had amazing water pressure, which is always a bonus! The location was perfect – tucked away in a peaceful area but surrounded by beautiful restaurants and bars. It was just a short walk to the beach and had great transport links, making it easy to get around. The host was wonderful and made me feel so welcome. The breakfast in the morning was delicious – such a lovely touch. Overall, it was a calm, relaxing place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with everything close by. I wanted to extend my stay I loved it that much but was fully booked!

The owner is a super nice lady. she is so welcoming, educated person, always smiley, she even ought me special food for the breakfast because I mentioned that I am allergic. the place is nice, clean, with a feel home atmosphere. I recommend it for anyone would like to visit Orbetello.

Clean and central

Very poor sweet breakfast served not in a way, and you couldn’t open windows because of the sulforous smell outside.

Comfortable bed and room very clean and quiet. Owner did not speak very much English but made every endeavour to Help and understand. Would recommend this B& B.

The bed pillow were somewhat a bit too hard for me, to reach perfection provide guest with an option for softer/lower pillows.

This is a beautiful property in a lovely town. The entire property is in wonderful repair, very clean and beautifully decorated .The host is lovely and assisted with the luggage and provided a nice breakfast.

You must park blocks away and tote your luggage to the property. It’s located in a no drive zone and no instructions were given on how to access the property. If you follow a GPS you’ll be directed to a no drive zone. I’m afraid I’ll be getting a whopping fine so be aware. Also this is a 3rd floor walk up and would not be ideal if you have any physical impairment.
