Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast could have been better. Would have been good if pastries and croissants were fresh rather than packaged. The fruit and yoghurt was good.
The room was tidy and easy to reach. It is in a good location and easy walk to the station. Room was large and the garden beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here.

The Owner Marco is very nice and helpful. Great location, close to the metro station, shops, restaurants. Clean rooms. I highly recommend it.

The host was very friendly and supportive, Marco helped us with everything we needed. The location is close to the Metro and Tiburtina Station, there are some markets around and restaurants. The garden was very nice and quiet, the perfect location for the morning coffee.

If you’re looking for something decent with great price, nice location, 10 minutes walk to Tiburtina, great, Marco was very friendly and helpful, we had problem with AC and It was 11 PM and he came very quickly and repaired it. Great customer service, great breakfast although It was packed but still very good. Thank you 😊

Good air conditioning (which was very welcomed during the heat wave), lovely garden space as the image shows, comfy and spatious bed and room. We made good use of the nespresso machine. The host was prompt in replying and very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was varied and delicious - pastry, fruit and yoghurt. The location is not central, but that was what we wanted - an authentic Rome neighbourhood that is very well connected to both train and metro via the Tiburtina station. It was also very quiet, with plenty of opportunities nearby for a low-key, delicious and fairly priced dinner. We lacked for nothing there and will definitely return to stay there on our next visit to Rome. Thank you!

Wi-Fi connection was poor in our room.
Spacious room with all the necessary appliances, good breakfast. Marco is a great host who explained everything about the facility and gave us some city visiting advices.

Marco was amazing and super friendly. He was so helpful and spent time with us explaining how to get around rome. The location was perfect. The room was amazing, as was the little garden with the table and chairs.

The location was hard to get into. 15min walk to the station and the neighbourhood is pretty rough with dirty streets and trash everywhere. Otherwise its nice to see outside the city.
The garden outside was very nice, you can access it straight from the room and eat breakfast. The host was super friendly and helped us with everything. The room and lobby was clean and comfortable. The bathroom in the room was modern.

I am not a fan of the room fragrance.
The hotel owner is very kind, helpful and friendly. The room is very quiet througout the night, and it is spacious. The coffee made by the machine is delicious!

Walls are very thin, it's a lottery to know if the guests next to you will be loud or quiet when entering, in and exiting the building

Hoping for a better breakfast once the pandemic is over.

The breakfast is the only thing I would change: it was a little too poor, lacking of bread or croissant.
Everything was a delight! Specially the host: super friendly, super helpful, speaks Spanish (we are Portuguese but it is easier to understand than Italian). The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. The air-conditioner was a perfect and essential addition for these hot summer days, after the long walks along Rome.

very basic accommodations, stayed there because it’s close to tiburtino train station. Unfortunately, the breakfast is still packaged “due to Covid” even though other hotels have returned to full Italian breakfast. Was fine for one night, but wouldn’t want to stay longer.

Breakfast was packaged food in the room so not good.
Location was quiet but uninteresting. About 10 minute walk to Roma Tiburtina station. ATM machine about 5 minutes walk from hotel.
