Reception; checking in. I think clearer directions of how instructions will be e mailed or phoned to you the day of check in. We did not have phone or internet access at all. So we had no idea how to get in the building. We had to bother a neighbor who used his phone to call the manager. She gave us access using numbers on a keypad. This process needs to be spelled out clearer for those traveling without phone or internet access. The building is quaint. Old. Like I figured it’d be. There was only one window that opened to a courtyard that was another BNB. So it was a little dark. But that’s ok. We didn’t stay in the rooms much. Lots of pictures. But couldn’t load them here. Google maps street view takes you right there.

Wonderful location inside the walls of Lucca. Minutes from the amphitheater (piazza). Great for walking to Resturants, shopping or just getting lost in Lucca, which is pretty easy. They send details of access to the info you give, like your e mail and phone number. SO! If you don’t have internet access you or a phone you might have trouble. But they were easy to contact. Manager is very helpful. Wonderful breakfast, continental so no inlets or pancakes. But that’s fine. They have a couple bikes to rent. Great for riding on the walled park. The air conditioning was good, very important for hot summer visit. But the city had lots of shade so it was not bad at all. I would definitely recommend this place and I’d stay again. It’s old. It’s quaint. We actually booked the two room and it was very spacious. Unfortunately the TV only had Italian Chanel’s. But that’s ok. Tech savvy folks may be able to figure that out. We did not spend much time in the room. The bathroom was fair size with standard shower. Adequate. Clean. The bathroom was bigger and actually cleaner than the Marriott in Florence. Definitely recommend this place.

An empty bottle of juice from previous occupant left in the fridge.

Not what we expected but lovely. Not a hotel but a B&B. When you ring door bell. Host comes from another location to let you in took her 3 minutes. 3 rooms available but all rooms are tastefully castle like furnished with 4 poster beds .there owner and her friend own 2 of these.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

It’s located in quite piazza near the anfiteatro. Very stylish and beautiful with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The host Juliana is very friendly and helpful.

Everything was excellent. Juliana is the best person, so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was huge and tasty. Room was unique and bed comfortable, excellent sleep. Shower is very powerful and enjoyed very much. This would be our place to stay if we come to Lucca again 🥰

All good!

The breakfast is a wide selection of fruit, cheese, breads, meats and a real coffee machine. You take it back to your room to eat... which is a relaxing way to start the day. The room itself was very charming with brick vaulted ceilings and friezes painted on the wall. The staff were very friendly, letting us leave bags at the B and B after checkout, which was so helpful.

Maria was a lovely host. She gave us many good recommendations for places to go and made reservations for us at a very nice restaurant that we never would have found on our own. The location is close to many attractions and room was unique, nice and clean! Grazie mille!

Very well appointed. Lots of little details that were a real pleasure. the scented sachets in the closet. The bath bomb, the big plant, crocheted table covers just identify a few little touches that made the room so pleasant. The nice staff.
