Thé noise from the street that reverberated especially screaming noisy children till 9.30 pm. Impersonal service, infact there was virtually no staff on hand or anyone in the office most of the time. Dark hallway to room. Light outside in seating areas turned off at midnight. ( I wished to read on the terrace & couldn’t)

It’s location ... only minutes from the beach & in the old town; Beautiful historical old building; nice big room; old world charm; the tour of the Palazzo résidence by the charming ‘patron.’ The lovely terrace for breakfast. Nice outdoor areas to sit & relax. The lovely lady who looked after breakfast ..picked up by Vespa from the station( only had a little luggage ) requested an electric jug which they brought to me.

Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfasts. Beautiful terrace to relax and take in the different views and stunning sunsets. Fantastic location for the beach, restaurants and walks in the historic centre. Everything only minutes away and great to be able to walk everywhere and leave the hire car at the wharf. Thank you.

Not well organised. Nobody told us it was not possible to park our car in the old town at the time of booking. One day there was no electricity and no water in the city, the city hall had informed the community well in advance. However, the B&B did not take any measure. We simply did not get coffee and could not take a a shower. This was disappointing for the price we paid...

Traditional palace turned into a hotel. Worth restyling

Parking is not available in the facilities. The hotel asks for your plate number, otherwise local police may issue a ticket for parking in restricted areas. The hotel is in the isle of the town, so car access is only available for residents. If you arrive after check-in time, worth making a call. We waited half an hour until someone turned up to receive us. The hotel's style is kind of 90's. Worth thinking a restyle.

The breakfast was great. Many options to choose from. Great view of the sea (the breakfast is served in the terrace). Worth asking to visit the Palace (Senape di Pace, adjacent to the hotel) where traditional Gallipolese family still lives. Amazing local Palace with incredible furniture. The owner gave us a free tour.

Parking. Only allowed 30 minutes in old town to unload/load and then parking outside old town (that we could find) only possible at 20 euros a day. Once the system is understood it is all navigable but initially the parking and unloading was hot, frustrating and hard work. If you go by car be prepared!

Fabulous location in old town. Beautiful old palazzo. Large comfortable room and stunning roof terrace for sunset over the sea (and sunrise). The two Lucias (housekeeping and breakfast staff) were very friendly and efficient and welcoming.

Tired decor from the entrance, right through. The elavator broke down and we had to use a probably dangerous back stairs, although we could see the alagant staircase of the Palazzo. The breakfast was very disappointing.

Central location. Very pleasant roof terrace, where the breakfast was served. A very helpful, pleasant young man from India who was a general 'fac-totum' of the Palazzo..

The room was a little dark but nothing major.

The location in the old town was great. The room was big and there were nice places to sit in the communal areas. The roof terrace is fantastic with pretty much 360 degree views of Gallipoli. Breakfast was very good buffet style for Italy with the usual sweet pastries (including the lovely pasticciotti) but also fruit and yoghurt, and the waitress was friendly. Parking in the port area was easy (in October at least).

The breakfast was bad- no ham, no eggs just simple none-home made cakes and a very bad nescafe. The fruits were not fresh. There was no assistance for luggage and we were forced to leave the hotel not later than 10 o'clock. So, the service was bad.

The location of the Palazzo was faboulos.
