The Cons: The walls are not well-insulated so you can hear every single noise from the other guests, including from the bathrooms, smoking is allowed on the balconies and if you don't smoke, you have to live with other people's smoke. While we were there, construction was going on building a pool. That will be great for future guests but we had to endure the construction noise which started at 7.30AM, so there was no way to sleep in or relax on the balcony during the afternoon. Very frustrating when paying full price.

The Pros: Amazing views from the entire property, nice sized rooms, comfortable bed and good shower, little balcony overlooking the sea, good breakfast, friendly & helpful staff and plenty of on-site parking. The cleaning staff came every day, replenished soap, shampoo and the room was always very clean. The resort had no children, which made it very quiet (except for construction noise). Very good for a couple.

Wish they'd had a pool - but it was too cold to swim anyhow! ha! Also there was a road closed to get here and the detour added time to our trip - would have been good to know that but all in all a great place!

Lovely sweet property. Location was spectacular. We were only here one night but it was a really good value. Breakfast was good and beds were comfy plus we had a nice outdoor space!

Big and nice rooms, elegant, with a fantastic view down to the city of Castelsardo. Mauro - the host -was burn to do this job. Together with his brother Bruno, they made the atmosphere in the restaurant. We were served by Andrea in the evening - very professional, and by two lovely girls at the reception and breakfast room in the morning. We were a group of 10 people but this small staff of people with great hards at Baga Baga managed to make us feel fantastik ! Hope to see you soon, folks, thanks for everything.

Staying at Baga Baga is perfect. The hotel is situated on a perfect location only 2km from Castelsardo. You're close to the old city and also away from all the noise. Our room was very clean, had a good air-conditioning, a nice balcony and perfect beds. The bathroom is spacey with a good shower. The breakfast was perfect with a beautiful view on the Castelsardo city. The staff is very friendly and helps you in every way to make it a perfect stay at Baga Baga. We definitely will return to Baga Baga when we are on Sardinia. The hotel has also a great restaurant with delicious (local) food. Special thanks to Luisa for all the good work!

No facility to make tea/coffee in the room which was unusual these days. The room was facing the sea but no view due to the high hedge in front. Go for an upstairs room if you like views. You can't walk to the sea or the town because it is a long way and the road has no verge/path.

Great room, with a large, very comfortable bed. There was a really nice en-suite with very good shower. There was a mini bar which was handy to put our own drinks in. We had a small garden area with 2 loungers. Lovely restaurant on-site and breakfast terrace with great views.

    Perfect

This was a wonderful property, all around! The room was large with a small terrace and decorated with bright and colorful tiles and local handicrafts for bedding. The bathroom was also large and done with colorful tiles as well. The staff was great, including the owner who didn't speak much English, but made up for it with his charm (!) and the other staff members did speak English. The onsite restaurant for dinner was fabulous!

Charming small hotel in a stunning setting and fabulous location. The place has tons of charm, the restaurant was brilliant, the staff was lovely. The downstair bedrooms have a little outdoor with sunloungers. The outdoor breakfast tables were perfect spot. Sunset was beautiful. Defo THE place to stay if in the area.

We loved the room itself and all the beautiful fittings, we even had a lounging area outside with couches. The position was a bit far out of town but the view of Castelsardo was lovely, especially at night. Breakfast was a little ordinary (and the coffee surprisingly so) for a place of this calibre but eating it out on the shady deck over the sea made up for this completely.

The only downside to the hotel for me was that it was some way outside the town. I was able to walk there but my friends found it too far and needed the car. However, everything else was excellent and the restaurant was very good too. Take their advice on choices of food and wine, you will not be disappointed. A very relaxing experience with beautiful gardens and views.

Perfect for a romantic stay, extra mirrored bathroom, nice bed, small balcony with excellent view of the sea is granted. The breakfast was generally fine, having it on the opened terrace with nice see view gives the best start for a day. The hotel is easily reachable, 4-5 minutes (by car) from the centre of Castelsardo gives the opportunity to get quickly to the old city but have rest in quiet.

The only negative comment we have is only minor .. it would be helpful to have more literature about the area in reception. We discovered by chance that the hotel opposite was in the same family and the facilities were available to us. It would have been helpful to have been told this as we used the beach, pool and coastal walks quite a lot. It would have been a pity to have missed out on this.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent Food. Intimate hotel. Fantastic setting. Stylish simplicity.

The wi-fi didn't work in the room very well. I was always getting disconnected. However It worked on the balcony but it was too cold and windy to sit outside. The lighting in the bedroom was very poor. There was one floor lamp in the corner which gave out very little light and two small bedside lamps. It was difficult to read by in bed. For a 4 star hotel, I would have expected a brighter room.

Our room had a balcony and we had a lovely view of the sea. The Baga Baga restaurant with sea view above the hotel within 2 minutes walk. My husband wasn't feeling well so it was nice not to have to drive.
