Beautiful old villa grounds & the pool was sparkling great for sunbathing. The host, Cincia & husband, were fantastic & gave us tour ides & maps & were like friends. The whole stay was very relaxing. Great breakfast! & dinner restaurant next door is outstanding, we went there a few times. Best gelato yet at Bonita Gelato- 5 m drive!!

This venue is more suited to motorists than other travelers. Nearby Lucca station was unable to find a taxi...

The nearby restaurant [recommended by the host] proved to be the best dining experience we had in a whole month in Italy. Absolutely loved the pool...

Gorgeous pool and location. Must get a studio room with a kitchen. We didn’t have a fan for the first few nights which made it hard to sleep and the river out the back of the villa was a bit smelly. Basic but beautiful! The restaurant down the road was incredible and the staff at Vila Pardi are so lovely and helpful!

Towels were more like sheets and didn’t dry properly.

Great for families; loved the variety of breakfast and property over all. Easy parking and restaurants near by (but too far to walk with little ones or elderly).

What a fabulous place! The family were so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing break. We would recommend Villa Pardi to everyone. The villa had been restored after being empty for 50 years and the amount of time, energy and love that went into the restoration is amazing. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed!!!

The building, together with its annex, were really very pretty and the whole grounds were well maintained. The rooms themselves were fine and the baby bed provided was perfect. The swimming pool was also great. The owner was also delightful and very helpful.

Cinzia and her family were the nicest hosts you could wish for. We had a wonderful week at the villa, enjoyed the 16m (!) Pool and the very good breakfast (fresh bread, wonderful Cappuccino, cheese, ham, salami, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruits, croissants, and a selection of different italian cakes). The villa is perfectly located. It is only a 10min drive to Lucca, 30min to Pisa or the sea, and 1h 15min to Florence. Cinzia always gave us suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The place is perfect for people who just want to relax, for people who want to explore Tuscany and as well for families with kids. Our room (we had a superior double room) had a little fridge and there is a fridge with some cold drinks in the dining room, too. You just pin a post-it with your purchases on the fridge and pay in the end, which was really handy! Good to know: As the villa is an old building (which has a wonderful charm by the way) you might hear some noise (e.g. from the birds) during the night. For us it wasn't a problem after the first night because we quickly got adjusted to the sounds, but if you are sensitive in terms of noise you might take some earplugs with you.

Everything.😀. We arrived a bit late. The owner was friendly and helpful. Recommended restaurant was really good. We had a very good night sleep. Breakfast we could not fault. Outside places to sit, quiet,....and this historic villa. Perfect. We would have like to stay longer. We will be back soon. This place is special.

Be advised that the soundproofing between rooms is limited.

We loved this B&B for our five night stay. The location is superb, beautiful Tuscan countryside just outside of Lucca, the Villa is set in a farming area, in the wonderfully atmospheric town of Nozzana Castello. The local restaurant, Il Borghetto, is a short stroll and highly recommended. Rooms are basic, but clean and well serviced, pool area is very relaxing after a day's sightseeing. Great base for exploring northern Tuscany and the owners are lovely people with good ideas on what to see and do.

Just returned from 7 nights staying at the beautiful restored Villa Pardi. Stayed in superior room, very clean and comfortable with great views of village and surrounding countryside. Breakfast was good quality and ample. The owners live on site and could not have been more helpful, giving tips on where to visit and giving quickest directions to sites. Had a lovely clean swimming pool to chill out after an hard days sightseeing. Would definitely recommend this Villa for anyone wishing to visit Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Would love to go back again sometime.
