The hotel is a fair way outside the city centre which has its advantages but the taxi fare from the city centre is quite expensive and the roads upto the hotel are narrow and twisting if you are driving. Not a criticism of the hotel but be aware if you are booking.

Fantastic views over Palermo. Good sized room with usual facilities. Bath and shower which was nice. Balcony. Reserved parking. Good reasonably priced restaurant. Shuttle bus to city centre. Swimming pool and gym available although we didn't use these.

We enjoy an after dinner stroll but the hillside location makes this impractical because of narrow road and traffic - but on the other hand the location was very refreshing after a day in the busy city of Palermo.

Very good facilities. Appreciated that the swimming pools were open at the end of October. Great views over the city. Shuttle to city or beach efficient, as was pick up from airport (much cheaper than a taxi). We enjoyed the restaurant. We found the breakfast very good - enjoyed eating it on terrace. Unusual not to have self service but we found this quite a professional approach - all the food was really fresh. Room very comfortable and clean with great balcony with views over city and sea.

Reaching hotel is challenging business, for someone who doesn't feel comfortable behind the wheel I would suggest a taxi, hotel in the need of refurbishing, it could make an outstanding place with few millions invested. Breakfast was inedible, coffe out of ancient coffe machine who produce coffe that can put you on the waiting list for a liver transplant, there is no self service for other "food" you can choose from scramble eggs ( scrambled with half a kilo of flour) cheapest ham around, cheese and spicy sausage, if you want any of this wonderful food you have to ask a member of staff to put on your plate for you, they are afraid you might enjoy it too much. There is no fruit, no drinkable juice, no pancakes.

The hotel is located on the top of the mountain what gives spectacular views of the Palermo and surrounding area, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, restaurant inside hotel served well prepared food.

The restaurant is not very special. Could be more cosy for the interior, waiters could be more pleasant, we had the idea he had had a bad night… but don’t show that to customers please…

Just outside Palermo, lying on a hill, the hotel has a very nice swimming pool looking over the city. There is a daily shuttle into town, you have to reserve one day before. My daughter and I had a wonderful two relaxing days, enjoying swimming pool and Palermo. We only did not take the shuttle back to the hotel (17:30 hrs), we staid in Palermo for diner at night, that gave some trouble. We thought it will be on our bill, but we had to pay the shuttle directly afterwards. Solved the day after…

The location is ideal if you have your own transportation but pricey if you have to take a taxi!

We were here for only two days following 22 hrs of travelling. It was a perfect place to recharge: great breakfast, swimming spas, lovely view, friendly staff and comfortable room. Great value!

The location was quite isolating and far away from stores and supermarkets.

The lift and there are at least 2 serving different floors have a notice up saying they malfunction and they do why not fix it. There is a dog at a nearby house which barks through out the night. Another reviewer mentioned this also. No tours offered from the hotel. There is a city shuttle mini bus into Palermo once a day and similar to a nearby beach but no other tours and it's a hotel up very steep winding road so not possible to walk to anywhere. The hotel has no shop just a very limited vending machine in the lobby. Would be nice to browse some souveniers/cards/ ceramics/magazines/snacks.etc. Front desk is overworked understaffed and muddled at times. The restaurant is under different management from the hotel you can't charge meals to your bill. It is average and service quite slow.

Very good swimming pool areas and good outside showers as these are salt water pools. Spectacular view from my balcony should have brought binoculars!! Working Aircon and a fridge in room.

In our room, really bad position of the air conditioning unit as it was pointing directly at our faces while in bed. Also the shower had unfortunate design where you would inevitably splil water while showering because of the short hose...

Restaurant was very good. Overall very good for the money. I recommend reserving parking as there is just few spots.

The reservation of the parking space was not successful. We had to park outside. Breakfast should have larger variation. Rooms are not exactly like on the pictures, they feel much older and more used.

The location was very good as we were travelling on the next day and weren’t visiting Palermo. It was nice to have access to the jacuzzi before leaving. Breakfast was correct.
