We were unable to connect to wifi in the rooms and couldn't connect to cellular network either but the latter is not the fault of the hotel.

The location was excellent as it was within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel itself sits beautifully with fantastic views of the lake from most rooms. We had initially booked a standard room but were upgraded to a room with a terrace and lake view which was a lovely surprise to start our stay there. The room was simple, clean and nice, the shower was great with good water pressure. The staff were incredibly friendly, always willing to help, gave restaurant recommendations and even booked a cab for us to get back to the airport. Breakfast was included and was good with all the standard pastries, toasts, jams, fresh juices along with eggs freshly made on request.

    Nothing !

The Bellevue is a family run hotel and we were treated like family ....the Royal family ! The ladies were extremely warm and pleasant and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. We have never enjoyed staying in an Hotel quite as much anywhere in the world .

Bathroom, specially the shower, was extremely old, no pressure and bathroom products were really poor, with small envelopes of shampoo, not user friendly at all. Location is good but no direct access to the Lake, well you just need to pay a bit more for that and go to a more expensive hotel right in front, but this is good value for money

Staff were very friendly, always willing to make you happy. The hotel is beautiful too, classic and nice swimming pool. Good location, close to many places. Overall good value for money considering the area is quite expensive

Unfortunately there wasnt a fridge in the room so keeping water cool was difficult. There also isn't an iron in the room, although the kind staff did allow me to use their personal one (industrial cast iron) which was very kind but not something I felt I could do each day.

The hotel is located in an absolutely stunning setting, although it is quite a walk away from restaurants and shops. Almost 15mins to central Gardone riviera, where there are a few restaurants and where you can get a ferry to other parts of the island. I would recommend hiring a car as it can be quite expensive to travel around by ferry everyday (sometimes up to €50/day for two adults). The rooms are large, with comfy beds and the bathroom is fully equipped. There are amazing views from the balcony. The breakfast was a very nice continental with eggs cooked on request to your liking and the cocktails were great! Very generous measures!

The hotel is close to the main road, so you hear all cars when you are relaxing in the swimming pool area/terrace.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable. It is visible that owners really take care about this buliding. We had jacuzzi in the room. Nice terrace, where breakfast is served and you can sit just for relax. Nice swimming pool. Close to the lake. Bus stop is situated 30 s way from the hotel.

    Nothing

We liked everything. Owned and operated by two sisters who take special care that everything is taken care of. Very, very friendly and wonderful staff. Beautiful gardens and perfect pool. Great views of Lake Garda. I always think that it is also incumbent on guests to make an effort as well as hotel staff. Too many people complain about stupid things. Perfect location for the open air theatre 400 metres up the hill where we sawn Jack (Giovanni) Savoretti.

Other than breakfast there is only a snack menu but many good restaurants within 1/2 a mile, the majority on a flat walk, but some in Gardone Sopra which is up a steep hill. The road runs in front of hotel but shutters and efficient glazing stop the noise.

Old looking hotel but the rooms are very modern and very clean. Staff very polite and helpful, small pool with sunbeds and beautiful view of the lake

Slight smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment. Hidden cleaning cost €45 which we were not aware of prior to booking g.

We stayed in one of the apartments connected to the hotel. It had its own garden, which was a lovely bonus. Standard of apartment is good but basic. A/c in bedroom. Lovely to use the hotels facilities, terrace for good value drinks in the evening and swimming pool. 1 minute walk to a lovely stoney beach where you can swim in the lake

Noisey when the door was open due to the busy road but slept very well with a closed door and A/C on. Pool very clean. On site parking was included.Overall excellent.

I hesitate to say anything negative, since the couple who run this place are very nice and were extremely accommodating, but I would not stay here if access to the lake was important. Although the website says the lake is 50m away, it is across a very busy highway and all of the lakefront in the area appears to be privately set aside for guests at other properties. Additionally, we had a fourth floor room and the air conditioning was inadequate for cooling of the room. The hosts were nice enough to move us to another room, but we did have to move at midnight, not the best scenario. Also, although there are restaurants in walking distance, they are not a short walk.
