Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaUnfortunately, we had the shower head in the room breaking free from the wall, making the head room a bit of an issue, but I'm sure that will be an easy fix. Also, it seemed to have a strong smoke smell when entering the hallway, which was quite off putting.
Was in an excellent location, didn't need to walk far at all to get anywhere with everything in a 20-minute radius. Staff were friendly and accommodating and assisted on checkout day by storing our luggage til late afternoon. Although the street was loud, it was relatively unnoticeable and made for a great view during breakfast in the morning.

Everything! This was a fantastic place to stay. Central location near the Pantheon, clean rooms, amazing big breakfast with hot and cold options, and brilliant staff, nothing was too much trouble. They even made up a breakfast for our early departure at 5.30 am. Will definitely stay again. Thanks.

United KingdomLoved it all.
Elena was a fantastic host. She provided the most delicious breakfast for my family at the crack of dawn. The bathroom was so big and spacious with a jacuzzi bath. Elena was so welcoming and really looked after us. Location was spot on, just south of the Pantheon. All for a reasonable rate, thank you.

United StatesWe loved the property but we should have read the checking in process a little better before arrival! That was our mistake. No one is there after noon and you have to use your phone by the brown doors to the building before arrival. There is no sign on the wall of the building just a little doorbell with the name on the left of the doors. You must walk up the steps to the first floor. There is no elevator.
Cute quaint place with an awesome breakfast. The help is available 8am-12pm every day and her English is perfect! Super clean and cold A/C!

New ZealandGetting to the accommodation from Rome Termini station wasn't so easy. Can't really walk and drag a suitcase and watch for the taxi drivers who seem to overcharge you for the trip.
Included breakfast that was provided each morning was excellent. Prepared fresh and great coffee too! Excellent location, centrally located so we could easliy walk to all the major locations like Vatican City, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, etc. Process to check in was a bit more complicated but went fairly smoothly.

GreeceThe accommodation felt a bit pricey for what it offered, though that’s somewhat expected given its central location in Rome. It's also situated on the first floor of a building without an elevator, which could be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues.
The accommodation was perfectly located in the city center of Rome, within walking distance of many sights and very close to public transport. The room was very clean and the staff really friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated that they offered a place to store our luggage after check-out. Breakfast was also excellent!

GreeceThe rooms are only accessible via staircase. The building's elevator does not serve the guests of the hotel and in case the luggage is heavy it is tiring to take them up to the room.
Location is excellent. Room is great. Nice rich breakfast served in the room with no extra fee.

SingaporeLoved our stay here! ♥️ The staff were fantastic - super friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. Room was spotless with daily cleaning. Breakfast was a highlight - lots of choices and they bring it right to your room whenever you want. We had to leave early one morning and they even packed us some bread to go. Such a nice touch! Great location too - we walked to most places and the bus stop was really close for everything else. Would definitely stay here again!

United KingdomThe main road is very busy from 5am to 1am.
The location was very central although on a very busy road. If you can sleep without the door/window open, it’s not a problem as they have air con. Access was easy, it was very clean, the breakfast each morning was delicious and the room was everything you need! Showed was good too! The mini fridge was also a great addition!

Room, breakfast selection and staff were all excellent and made our trip to historic Rome and absolute joy. Our room cleaner could not have been more helpful. Only negative was we wish we had booked a garden view, as the road noise was a little enormous. Superb hotel in a superb location
