To my liking, the pillows and mattress were too soft, and I had a bit of trouble adjusting in my sleep. Also, there was a noise from the closing doors during the night, but this is common in hotels.

The location was great, close to the centre. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Overall a good experience!

The room was quite small. We are not used to people smoking in public places so it was not good when having breakfast outside.

Loved having a private terrace. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and pleasant. It was easy to go from there to all the sights in Modena. It was lovely that the bar was open in the evening.

Bathroom was small and have to angle to sit on the toilet. The only other thing I would have appreciated would be a real fridge. There was a drinks cooler for the mini bar but no fridge for groceries for a family. Those cooler fridges are not cold enough for milk etc.

Great location, very friendly staff, room was spacious and cleaned very well. We really enjoyed our stay here. Great WiFi. I would recommend it.

There was no soundproofing whatsoever. I could hear everything from the room next to me and from the corridor. It made falling asleep challenging... The design of both the common areas and the rooms is outdated. It could use a renovation.

The location of the hotel is great. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.

The property is great, just a bit of a nightmare to reach in a car, the Modena one way system vs Google maps.

Great location, generous size room, air con, tea/coffee, fridge and close to shops, cafe’s, bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful, especially assisting us with navigating our way to the hotel and hotel garage (€30/night).

the door to the shower barely fit, so water flooded the bathroom every time I took a shower. The TV only gets Italian stations, so no big international news channels.

The hotel is right in the centre of things, but also not a far walk from the train station. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The price very reasonable.

The only comment we would make is that the hotel garage (down the street from the hotel) is very restricted inside as it has many pillars supporting the ceiling/building above, and has only 1 entrance which is also the exit. Our car is a Citroen Berlingo which is larger than average size and parking was quite tight. Nevertheless a great bonus to be able to park there. The car park entrance is open/closed electronically by the Hotel Reception - another bonus.

Hotel is extremely well situated in central Modena. Staff were all welcoming and helpful. Very central location - all is within easy walking distance. It was easy to find hotel on arrival due to clear directions from Hotel - needed due to the restrictions for cars entering the inner city limits...access is via a certain street only. Parking was possible in the hotel garage which is in same street. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment upon that.
