The fridge might work, it would help. For almost 600 Euro a night I hope I'm not too demanding. Giving us two power keys would improve its performance. Just a suggestion.

It's been my fifth time. And I will return as long as I live. Assuming I will be still able to afford it :). Thanks MK

Overall, the accommodation was not satisfying at all. Booked a room with View on St. Marks Square - but didn't get it! During the check in i asked if it is a Room with view and I was answered yes - so they even lied to me at the check in! After complaining about this I was staved off to the next day when the manager arrives. But nobody contacted us for a solution. On top, the furniture was partly broken and the room was not cleaned properly (no fresh cups for coffee etc.) Overall, a very disappointing trip

The 3 most important items to change would be; 1 - softer better quality pillows. They currently are solid lumps and very uncomfortable 2 - a better quality mattress. Way too hard and cheap These 2 items meant a poor quality sleep which spoiled our stay somewhat.we have stayed in Venice 5 times now and only once before did we have similar mattress on Lido. 3 - complimentary bottle of water. There are no coffee/tea making facilities so having even an initial bottle would have been nice. And switch the fridges on, 2 mini fridges and neither working. It also would be nice but not essential to have a porter to take bags to suite as it's a 3 minute walk away from the hotel check in and on the 4th floor of a building with no lifts. After a long flight / tiring journey more help would be better. Be aware check in is at The Hotel Antico Panada. It's a shame that with just a couple of small things this would be a fantastic suite and a 10. Just add a better quality bed and some softer pillows plus 2 complimentary bottles of water. Nothing too expensive but it would make such a difference to the guest experience and repeat bookings.

Location was fantastic although we did think on booking we would have a view of st Marks Square however the apartment we were in only had a view of the clock in the side st. The main word I would use to sum up the suite (710) would be 'OK'. A shame really as it wouldn't take much for it to be fantastic. Plenty of room in the suite with a separate sitting area and a sml kitchenette, however no tea making facilities supplied - not even a single bottle of complimentary water. The bed was a good size but rock hard and the pillows were like bricks. This meant a poor quality sleep. The decorations etc were decent quality as was the furniture. The telephone didn't work either so if we needed any help it was an issue.reported twice but nothing done. Staff were ok but obviously busy and not that little bit extra you get from 4 and 5 star. Overall not bad and I would stay again but only if they changed the mattress and pillows.

Attention to detail needs looking at: more than two towels required, tea and coffee facilities are terrible- only 2 teabags per day, pen in the writing set not working, for 5* room the attention to detail is expected.

Decor rather gloomy. Poor reproduction furniture making the rooms look like fake 18th century Venice! Good showers were a welcome modern touch!

Checked in at a different hotel and had someone walk us a short distance to this room. It's amazing - beautifully furnished - windows looking right out at St. Mark Square and Basilica. Awesome location.

Sleep comfort is poor due to the pillows quality and tower clock mechanism. View over tge san marco square is useless due to the discomfort of opening curtains - tourists are looking the Watch tower and stair inside your room.

TV remote had no back and only one battery, floors were dirty, bath leaked, bathroom fan ventilation didn't work, bath wasn't completely clean and some mould.

Location was perfect, interior decor (You can hear the sound of the clock tower mechanisms throughout the night, I liked it however my partner didn't, the clocks around st marks also ring through the night)

You need to check in at hotel Panama (can't remember the exact spelling) which is 3min walk from the hotel. Be careful when you traveling with huge luggages, it doesn't has lift to the room

The wifi connection was very poor, and most of the time not working at all. The service is not too nice, and is rather at the level of less expencive hotels

The location is excellent, and the room was spacious.

No lift so you need to carry your suitcases up many flights of steep stairs, but worth it for the view.

Location was outstanding. Lovely traditional room, loved the view. You are paying for the location but the room was very comfortable, great air conditioner in the heat! Perfect location right in the square, we had the room right beside the clock but the room was completely soundproof when the windows were closed which was excellent as they ring the bells every 30 minutes!

One of the reasons we booked this place was because an internet connection (essential for business) was advertised as being available. However, no internet was available while we were there (even though the "Best Windows" Wireless connection works). Don't expect the Panada Hotel staff to care/take any action if it doesn't. Best Windows, when you call to complain about the WIFI, hoping they might escalate your problem, recommend you register your complaint online, as their call volume is unusually high. This is difficult, as you have no internet. As this is the second time this has happened to us in this place, we probably won't use this unit again, which is a real pity as it's in a wonderful position.

Excellent position, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Supervised by a nearby Hotel (Panada) with no staff available onsite. If you need anything, you have to call, or walk over to the hotel, 3 minutes walk away. Great if you are independent, but if things go wrong it can prove difficult and troublesome not to have onsite staff.

The room shown on the website is not the room I got so very disappointed. 'Suite' is made by putting a piece of veneered plywood to create the rooms. You are sleeping next to a clock tower where you not only hear each tick, you feel it too.

    Extraordinary view

Every thing else. They know that the room is not refundable, so basically they don't care. So, when you shocked about the quality you pay for, you can do nothing.
