Charming small scale hotel. Sea view from breakfast room Nice roof terrace with views over town and sea! Friendly and helpful staff. Location is good, easy to park for free, clean rooms.

WiFi in room had technical issues. Great WiFi in lobby but that’s not the same as in one’s room. Breakfast very basic. Furnishings old and a bit tired. Had to wait for door to be buzzed for entry AND exit. (Understand for entry, but should be able to figure out better system for exit.) Bed (double) is (as often the case) two singles shoved together. Stairs could be an issue if mobility challenged.

Very friendly staff Great central location to walk around Gallipoli (outside the island old city) Great water pressure in shower

Large, clean and comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking the marina. A few minutes walk from the old town but even in the street behind the hotel there were plenty of shops, and cafes. Parking in front of the hotel (low season so was no problem). No elevator ! Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was good.

Staff were keen to explain where to go for the main sites and recommended restaurants. Hotel is well sited for both the historical centre and the Main Street of the current centre.

This is one of our favorite hotels. Our third, and hopefully not our last visit. The building has an old-world charm, rooms are large, some with balconies and views of the sea. Easy walk to the old town. Parking right in front. The two young women at the front desk are charming, knowledgeable about what to do and where to eat in the area. We enjoyed short conversations with them each time we came and went. Only low point was the breakfast, food ok, but the girl opened late, served things haphazardly, and seemed half asleep. This would not keep us from returning.

Room was a little small with no tea or coffee making facilities.

Great breakfast, fantastic location just near the bridge to the old town, parking on the street was free and not a problem in September, staff were really eager to help. Great outlook from rooftop deck.

Hotel Bianco is in an excellent location, situated in the new town and less than 5 minutes walk into old town. Denise & Serena are friendly, great at correcting our italian, recommendations for restaurants & where to go. Lecce is definitely worth a visit, it's a stunning town with some fabulous architecture and less than an hour's drive. Blue Bay beach was our favourite with it's clear & calm waters. Hotel Bianco are happy to book the beach transfers.

As an older building, there was no lift, but as it's only two storeys, it wasn't much of a problem.

The staff were genuine, helpful and had lots of advice for trips and activities in Gallipoli and Salento. It was also a very quiet location, although it was just a minute's walk from the main street of the new town, Corso Roma.

Gallipoli was really not as impressive as I had been led to believe by the guide books. It was far more 'touristy' that other towns I had visited in the region. Having said that, the restaurant that the staff on reception recommended was very good.

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and gave us a badge to allow us parking directly outside the hotel. The view from the room was wonderful with two balconies over-looking the sea. It was quiet in the evening and a very short walk from the restaurants and bars.

It's a small hotel and does not have any area e.g. like a lounge, where you can chill

Really good location for exploring the town and restaurants but away from the noise of the bars and clubs

Poor breakfast, with leftovers being offered for a number of days in a row. The service at breakfast is quite disappointing.

Spacious rooms with beautiful high ceilings. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and old town. Offers a shuttle service to Baia Verde beaches.

Nice and friendly staff always wearing a smile, we always felt welcome and comfortable, spacious room with nice sea-view balcony, location less than 10 minutes walking distance to old city, many seafood restaurants and bars along the road to old city, good breakfast with a lot of fresh fruits, free easy parking just outside hotel, good choice in Gallipoli.

    Nothing !!

Location was great , just off Corso Roma And within walking distance to the old town. Very clean and spacious room with a quirky upstairs which the kids loved . We arrived late at night and it was no problem . We could park right outside the hotel as they gave us a parking permit for the car. Breakfast was lovely and suited all of us, kids and adults alike . Fresh flowers in the lobby and breakfast every day added a nice touch . Staff were super friendly .

Definitely not 4 stars hotel but comfortable. Breakfast with fresh products but with low variety. We had better breafast in other 2 or 3 stars hotels in Italy.

Location close to old town - 10 min by foot, spacious room with comfy bathroom. No issues with parking on street but we were off-season. Gallipoli is marvelous city with nearby excellent beaches.

Breakfast could use more variety of foods and it's not really adequate to the price of the room... it was disappointing really, as in other hotels of that standard in Italy (4*) this was not the case.

Really comfortable bed, nice and spacious room with a view, friendly staff and relatively easy parking.

Only the breakfast could use some improving – the food is not always fresh (day old bread and pasteries…)

This is one of our favorite hotels, it always makes our stay in Gallipoli most pleasant. It has a delicious “old time” feel, everything is sparkling clean, the staff is delightful. We also appreciate parking our car in front of the hotel, and being able to walk to the old city. An easy drive to other interesting cities nearby for a day-visit. Internet worked perfectly.

It was 9pm on a Thursday night and the bar was not open (we were looking forward to a post dinner drink). The room was dated and the website pictures were misleading. The shower in the bathroom was not clean.

    no wifi

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our recent trip to Puglia, we had an excellent room with windows on both sides of the room overlooking the sea. The room was large and very comfortable but unfortunately the wifi reception was hopeless. Breakfast the following morning was ok, coffee, rolls, cheese and cold meat.

The location was perfect - the hotel was easy to find and parking was available in front of hotel. Our comfortable room, overlooking the sea, was airy and bright. Breakfast was abundant and good. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Overall - a very pleasant stay.
