It's not a negative but something that could have helped but the apartment is in a ZTL(Zona a traffico limitato) and require a special ticket during specific times of the day to be driven. It would be great from the host to let you know and how to avoid any undesired fine.

Noise in the early morning. In the evenings, the heating got hot and there was no way to adjust it, the windows had to be opened.

Great location. There are great places for breakfast nearby. A pleasant sound of bells is heard. The authenticity of the building has been preserved, while at the same time everything is very neat and comfortable. I was surprised by the cleanliness. Very nice personnel.

The ground floor apartment is very dark and a little cramped- there’s no natural light coming in but it was fine for a weekend trip where all we needed was somewhere to sleep.

Amazing location walkable to everything we wanted to do and around the corner from a lovely square but still quiet and felt safe.

PERFECT LOCATION AND ENOUGHT FACILITIES, SHOWER GREAT AND GENTLE PEOPLE

Probably kitchen facilities / precisely the kettle, would be great to have an electronic one, as the one in the kitchen was old and rusty , and we couldn't use it to boil water.

Location and security. Almost all landmarks were on walking distance, there was a very close bus station. The host, Roberto, was very attentive and provided all the support during the stay, including storing our luggage in another space more comfortable for us.

Shower head would constantly move when trying to choose a stream. Shelf on the wall was very unstable. We got a room which didn’t look like the pictures. Signing out was a bit of a hassle as we flew out late evening and they needed our keys so we had to take our luggage by 3, but was good of them to look after the luggage when we had to leave the room for 11, so we had a few hours to do what we wanted. No duvet, just a sheet.

Best location in Rome, next to the wonderful charming Campo de Fiore. Everything else in walking distance. We felt quite safe, to reach our room you had to cross 2 locked doors and a locked gate. Having booked for 6 nights, we had a 4 persons room for 2 people because we would have a little more room. For 4 persons it would have been rather cramped but I guess that is the price you pay for staying in an absolute top location. Good shower in the tiny bathroom, wonderful feeling after a long day of sightseeing. The small street could be noisy but the airco works so just close the windows. Extra service: owner reachable by whatsapp in English and Italian. We didn't need it but it was a comforting thought.

the beds and pillows could be renewed. the pillows are thin and the beds are a little bit old.

it is 5min away from navona, and pretty close to pantheon and trevi (10-15min). Roberto who helped us was such a nice guy and he was very helpful. if i come back i will stay here again.:)

Unfortunately the mattresses were rather thin with detached headboards that banged around a little when we shifted positions, and we had some trouble sleeping even after our 30k step days walking around the city. We are starting to get a bit older though and maybe notice this more than a younger guest would :) The shower was very small but that would be expected in a small old building such as this.

Incredible location and super helpful and friendly staff, thanks so much Roberto for everything including restaurant suggestions and calling a cab for us to head to the airport so we didn't have to walk to the taxi stand! I liked how it really felt like we were staying in an old Roman apartment building with the Annunciation art and wood-support ceiling making me feel like I was in another time :) However there was still working AC which was super helpful after those hot afternoons.

The WiFi wasn’t great, but maybe because we were at the top floor room. The mattress was also a bit hard, for some people it may be a problem.

We loved our room! In a perfect location, adorable and great for couples. In the other reviews there were some complaints about noise - but we where at the top floor and it was very peaceful and quiet. We will be back!
