we booked a suite based on the photos on booking.com but the room was not really a suite but a room with one double bed and one single bed .. no sofa or other more suite-like

Internally the villa needs some updating All the bedrooms were roomy and had en-suite bathrooms which was good. Furniture needs updating, kitchen needs more equipment, needs washing machine, hoover and other equipment.

Amazing outside area, Great views, lovely pool, lots of areas to sit and relax, nice shaded dining area. Lots of space Access to the main hotel was good, fab meals, great wine tour, helpful staff.

Slightly less comfortable than other we experienced in Toscane and the breakfast needs to be improved (local products and fruits and fresh juices for instance).

Very nice location, beautiful and calm in the middle of the Val of Chianti. This complex Agritourismo/hotel boutique is nice for family trip in the region.

I wish we had known our specific assigned cottages before we arrived. We also had a little mix-up with the hand-off from the winery tour / apertivo to dinner in the main space. But other than that, we had a great time!

We really enjoyed the winery tour and the wine tasting. We loved the different types of cottages and accommodations. Dinner and breakfast were delicious as well.

guest areas were not very well maintained. The gardener should have taken care of the pool area and the garden. everything was very wild and especially the pool area was not welcoming. Prices were too high for what you get. Especially the cooking course was not worth the money.

We had a villa type suite and given it's summer, for that space a single split AC wasn't enough. Maybe an extra portable fan or extra or larger AC unit would have helped. It'd be nice to have a basic coffee machine in the room - considering the price paid for the room, the location is very far from regular cafes/restaurants, and the hotel restaurant could serve only black tea in the afternoon.

The property is beautiful with the vineyards, olive trees, etc. and amidst the scenic hills. There is a large pool and a ping pong table too. Jason who attended to us at the reception was courteous and intro'd us to their wine & also helped arrange a veg menu for us for lunch.

the on-site restaurant and pool and the option of wine tasting. welcoming staff and the waiter and waitresses were very accommodating, including providing cold filtered water in my reusable bottle. we enjoyed the apartment and patio.

The tiniest of details… missing some drinks options from the menu at dinner. Luckily the wine produced at the Casa Al Vento is more than enough to make up for missing out on an aperitif or digestif after dinner.

Friendly helpful staff that went above and beyond with their service and attitude. Food was consistently delicious and fresh. The room was exceptionally comfy and had everything we needed for a couple of nights escape in the countryside.

The room was really nice, with a beautiful view, nice beds and a good sized bathroom. The food at Casa Borgo al Vento was just excellent! The scenery around the hotel is just really gorgeous. The property is also very spacious and has a beautiful pool.

The food is average at best and grossly overpriced (and the same goes for the cooking course). There are much much better options in the area at that price range. Service was also slow and unfriendly. The rooms are in some parts in bad condition, dark, and more importantly quite dirty (see pictures). Given the layout of the property, many rooms are also just above the kitchen or the restaurant, making them quite noisy at times.

Roads were a bit rough coming in but it is a country villa after all. Restaurant was decent but the food in town was much better and more affordable.

It is in a gorgeous setting among vineyards and rolling hills of Tuscany. The staff went above and beyond in accommodating us and provided great information about other wineries to visit. The pool was fabulous and their wine was delicious!

The only almost negative is that it is a little off the beaten path, but we loved that so I guess it depends on what you are looking for. You will not be walking to restaurants other than the one on the property from here, but their restaurant is so good you don’t need to go anywhere else.

This place is completely beautiful. The rooms are lovely (highly recommend the garden suites with outdoor space, but there is lots of outdoor common space as well). The restaurant is absolutely amazing, we ate breakfast and dinner here for I think 6 of the 7 days we stayed. Everything is delicious but highly recommend the wild boar ragu and the truffle pasta and the fiorentina steak. And the tiramisu. We took a cooking class and leaned how to make pasta and the tiramisu, which was fun and delicious to eat the result afterwards. The staff is here wonderful, they will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is enjoyable and you have everything you need. And the wine is delicious, highly recommend taking the tour and doing the wine pairing dinner. We cannot wait to come back here.

After reading some questionable reviews, we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this accomodation was. Our room itself was large, clean, air conditioned and what appeared like a newly renovated bathroom. The room was cleaned daily. While some fixtures are clearly older than others, it was part of the charm. They had great options for experiences hosted on site which allowed us to experience all we had hoped for by staying in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. We personally loved the BBQ hosted on the Friday night which was a surprising touch. The food was amazing, accompanied by a beautiful bottle of their wine and live music. The wine tasting and cooking class were also great. Pool area was clean and great spot for relaxing. We are from Australia and would go out of our way to come back to this beautiful accomodation.

Morning coffee could have had more punch. I know, I didn't think I'd say that in Italy. One could critique further but the charm of the place is that it's a friendly, family run place in a beautiful, secluded post at the end of the road. Relax and enjoy the place but if you want 5* 24/7 sterile service with a Tuscan view then look elsewhere.

A lovely retreat at the end of a dirt road - very much a place to go and have a few (or more) relaxed days off. We stayed over for a nearby wedding and wished that we'd been able to spend more time here since we would have like to have enjoyed more the food, wine and olive oil that was on offer. Much to be recommended :o)

really such a beautiful place with Italian charm, the surroundings, the pool, tennis court, the food, winery, running, cycling, everything was so good. just like on films :). the hosts are super kind, Francesco is really someone who takes care of all the guests, we appreciated his advices, suggestions, kindness. we will surely return.
