Lovely place to stay in all ways. Comfortable rooms, beautiful facilities ( pool and wellness centre) within the complex, great views from the restaurant, and excellent breakfast. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. Lovely staff as well.

Staff was always ready to help, but the service, especially at the restaurant, should be improved. The Spa is free for all the hotel guests(as indicated at the hotel in the room information note) but apparently not for booking.com clients. Please check in advance with the property to avoid disappointment. We did get free access anyway and enjoyed it, however we heard few other clients complaining about the fact the heated swimmingpool was not heated during their stay, we didnt mind of course being free.

The location is simply stunning, peaceful and a point of start to discover not only Umbria but also Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. The Borgo has been refurbished trough the years and it is very well kept. Great facility with a restaurant, outdoor and indoor swimming pool with steam room and sauna, good continental breakfast, large rooms and very kind staff, expecially Mrs. Elena who was looking after us at breakfast.

The evening meal was average for the price and the service could be improved.

The location is fabulous, a lovely borgo in the Umbrian countryside, at the border with Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. We also enjoyed the cosy Spa. Friendly staff, especially Mrs Elena.

Fish at dinner undercooked, cool. Spa area dark, creepy, with non working steam room.

Stunning views, good breakfast. Day manager helpful.

THE POOL WAS NOT VERY CLEAN... Within a couple of days we have all developed conjunctivitis, a sty or cold sore.

This hotel is in an attractive, secluded location about 10 mins drive out of Citta di Castello. It is an interesting place, as it is converted from a small hamlet on top of a hill with lovely rural views. The restaurant was nice (very quiet) and served typical Umbrian food - light on vegetables, heavy on pasta and meat! The indoor pool set up is attractive and we all enjoyed a few swims and relaxing in the sauna/steam room, BUT ...

Very calm former village converted to hotel. Lies on the top of a hill with beautiful views, has a good kitchen and kind staff. Is great to get away from the Tuscan crowds for a couple of days to resource oneself.

Nice location as central to Citta di Castello and Sansepolcro, but will need car to get there. Great views and apartment was really nice. Really appreciated that the heating was on when we arrived so already felt nice and cosy.

We understand that it's winter and the hotel isn't that busy. It was a shame that there were large parts of the hotel closed and no bar to sit and meet people. We have been here before in the summer months for lunch and always looked forward to booking a stay, Disappointed with the menu and break fast could have been better. Bread and cakes should have been fresh each day and not brought out on two or three days. Menu for lunch and evening is much better in the summer months

The very bubbly receptionist when we arrived. She was helpful all week. All the staff were very nice, the room was warm and a good size. The area beautiful.
