Unfortunately the restaurant was not available for dinner but we were able to experience the local cuisine. There was some mold in the room and bathroom.

Amazing pool and large room. Great to have private parking and an excellent breakfast with both hot and cold choices. Great recommendations for dinner at local pizza and fish restaurants.

The blankets we found in the room were not great. One seemed to have moths, and I'm not sure they had been recently cleaned. It was a bit cool the evening we were there, so it would have been nice to use them. However, we were fine in the end.

The reception was very generous in waiting for us, since we arrived late. Our room was not luxurious, but it was spacious and comfortable; the bathroom was immaculate, with a fantastic shower. The grounds are especially dramatic and beautiful, and the breakfast was fantastic.

It would have been nice to have the restaurant open.

Within a few kms of direct access to the town of Cortona and easily accessible to other attractions in the region. The pool area is expansive and very relaxing with bar service. Rooms are clean and easily accessible from large free car park. Staff very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good with a wide a selection. The restaurant was closed during our stay but this was not a huge issue for us as there are so many lovely restaurants in Cortona. This is our second stay here. Really good value for money.

The Bar was closed in the evening but it was ok as we bought some drinks and had a fridge in room

Room was spacious and lovely . The quality of the breakfast wasn’t as good as in many other places that I’ve stayed in Italy. Also the restaurant was closed during our stay which wasn’t ideal

The bed was so hard very uncomfortable and the cleanliness was below average.. bed was clean lovely white sheets .. there was dust lying round tops of lamps and mirrors and bathroom round shower and bath had black mould ..

The location the was great the pool was divine.. staff helpful lively white towels changed daily ..

The rooms were far away from each other.

The breakfast was delicious and fit. The buffet table was copious. It is a very good place for a short stay.The surrounding was also nice.

Difficult to get around if you don't have a car. Otherwise a perfect stay!

Borgo Il Melone is a charming hotel. We were kindly received, the rooms are spacious and clean, the swimming pool is lovely and the breakfast extensive and delicious! The cozy town of Cortona is a 10-minute drive away and is nice to visit, even if you only stay 1 night like us.

Restaurant only opened at 19 which was late for us with young kids. Room a bit dark and very rustic but that could also be expected

We missed mosquito screens, not expensive or difficult and indispensable... Little light in our room, was romantic, but sometimes you need light :-)

my bed was hard as a rock and it was very noisy. You can hear all the guests fairly well, slamming doors, etc.

The staff was very friendly and great! I never ate the breakfast, but looked good! The location is excellent and very safe.

- Pool was closed during our stay in June. Better to check before booking - A/C was not working in the room - Walls are dirty - The room we booked (Family Room) is not the same with the picture in the booking site.
