I booked this hotel because it claimed ****. After I got there, I was so disappointed. It is a small hotel and facilities cannot even reach the quality of **. It is in the residential area. The breakfast starts at 7:00 am. Definitely it is not worth the money.

The staff at the front desk is helpful.

Clean room, quite big. Nice breakfast and great receptionist (speak French and very welcoming). 10min away from Navigli and 15/20 from the center (Duomo) with the tramway (direct line).

    - Sadly the AC didn't work and the room was incredibly hot, making it nearly difficult to sleep at night. According to the staff nothing could be done about it atm

Very beautiful low high building with a garden, very friendly personnel, very nice location next to the canal and the bike road that people use to make their morning exercise. Frequent tram 2 can take you to Navigli in 15 minutes.

Major building works going on immediately next door which was not disclosed on the website! Staff advised hotel was full so couldn't be moved to another part that might have been quieter. No lounge/bar facilities for guests to get a coffee or drink outside restaurant times and a private function in the restaurant meant we had to take drinks back to our room as there were no facilities other than a very tiny dining room for 4 small tables or sitting outside in the cold. No tea/coffee making facilities in the classic rooms and in the deluxe room tea/coffee only supplied on first day and not replenished and the cups were not washed or replaced on 2nd or 3rd day despite mentioning to reception.

Very well located for getting in/out of the city.

Unfortunately we had a room right next to where building works are happening, which started at 7am every morning we were there and continued until evening. Also, in another room other guests made huge amounts of noise up until 2am, dragging furniture and partying - and although the staff dealt well with that issue after we called to complain, it all resulted in very little rest for us. At 6 months pregnant it made things extremely challenging for me and I felt I had no rest during our 3 night stay at all. Had we known about this noise issue we would never have booked this property.

The staff were great, very polite and accommodating. The breakfast was a plentiful and relaxed buffet, with lots of choices. The location was great for us as it was walking distance to family. The room was cleaned every day, and there was always enough toilet paper. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water.

Some installations in the rooms were broken (we changed rooms due to a sink with broken sewage water pipes, got a small upgrade, but also in the new room some lights near the bed and the WiFi did not work, also the shower handle was loose). The caffe machine at breakfast did not work the 2nd day, and at day 1 the coffe tasted like instant coffee).

Nice continental breakfast and great staff, Tram close to the property, good parking (video surveillance).

It says 4*, just have in mind it's by Italian standards- no carpets, small reception, entrance to rooms from open area, like pavilions or a Spanish hacienda. It's not as luxurious as you'd expect it to be (Croatian 4* would be at least 6* in Italy, I'd compare it to 4* in central London or Paris). Still, great value for money, especially for Milan.

Great bed, surrounding area, lots of greenery, beautiful canal ( 2-3 tram stops away there's an area with loads of restaurants and bars), easy to reach by car, great parking (free, which is almost impossible to get in Milan). Staff excellent, air conditioning great, many TV channels... Tram 2 is 50m away, gets you straight to Duomo in 20mins. Great breakfast - cheese, desserts, ham, eggs, coffee, cakes,fruits...

The first room we were booked into was a classic, although this is cost effective at just over £50 per night it was damp, dull and very drearily. I would not stay in this room and we had to move as it also smelt, apparently there was no other classic rooms just the delux which were an additional £30 per night, after a 15minute conversation with the staff about the room we had book as it was nothing like any of the images advertised on your site or there's they agreed to upgrade us to a deluxe for £20 per night. This room was better but this is not a 4 star hotel. It's is about 2miles to the Naviligio Grande where all the bars and restaurants are so not as advertised in the heart of it all. The exterior of the property needs some attention but as you walk in the courtyard and gardens are beautiful. The restaurant was closed due to holidays which should oh been advertised also.

    Staff were friendly.

The tiles in the yard and garden are not cleaned, they are almost green. There is no mosquitos nets, so we had to keep the wooden jalousien closed, also not effective against mosquitos. The wals are not painted in years, old marks of flies. There were construction works (demolitions) right next to our room, very uncomfortable from 8 am. We were not announced before arriving. To go to the center of Milano you can use only the tramway, close to the hotel, but very warm. The prices in the restaurant are very high, the quality of the restaurant room not of 4 stars. The terrace was very bad maintained, not clean. Except the prices, not a 4 stars, maybe 2.5.

Confortable beds, large rooms, huge bathroom. Large parking place.

I have stayed in this hotel already many times. I have noticed with pleasure, that there were some improvements. Bathroom was modernised, there was a water boiling kettle in the room. The location of the hotel is surprisingly good for hopping on the tram to the centre of Milan. Walls are very thin, you hear what's going on outside of the room and next to your room. Hopefully people just did noise 10 mn before going to bed, it was never all along the night.

Staff was all nice : from the receptionnist to the cleaning house maid. Very easy to reach city centre, the old-style tramway 2 cross all Milan city centre, passing through Navigli, and make you feel as a local. You find easily a sit in the tram as the line starts at the hotel (great for my pregancy). You can also walk along the canal and catch any bus or tram as soon as you feel tired.

Very loud. The cleaning ready in the morning came in without even knocking at the door. The concierge was very rude. We arrived late at night, after informing the structure that we were arriving very late and the person welcomed us saying "I already put you under NO SHOW because you could have informed us that you were arriving late" instead of saying "HELLO". At least, on the other hand, the guy at the reception in the morning was very gentle and seemed very mortified about our bad experience during the night.

If you travel by car, this is hotel is very good, easy to access the highway and has a free parking. There is a running/cycling path just outside hotel, Navigli restaurants are very near, centre can be reached by tram. In spring/summer the hotel's courtyard is a big plus.
