Stunning B&B in a beautiful setting. We stayed two nights in the apartment. It was a blissful experience. We had no plans in the midst of a long trip in Italy, so we relaxed. This was the perfect place. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The decor was delightful original artwork graced the walls. Located in the countryside a car is required to venture out for shopping or meals. It is a short drive to a good variety of both. We loved our stay.

It was a bit difficult to reach the host with questions that we had during our stay. Also, if you book the apartment, note that it doesn't have AC; we left the windows open at night and the host kindly provided a fan, both of which helped a lot.

We had a wonderful stay at the B&B. It's located on a stunning property with amazing views of Bologna and the surrounding hills, and the decor is sophisticated and artful. It was simply gorgeous! The breakfast was amazing and we felt very relaxed.

Words could never adequately describe the pure beauty of this B&B. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the hustle & bustle of the city but still close enough to easily access it, then you must stay a Ca Bianca Dell Abbadessa. You will walk away in awe of the uniqueness and magnificence of this magical place .

two things that can easily be resolved. One, the gate remote is a bit fidgety but we did manage and second, coffee machine or kettle even in the communal area would be amazing. we do like super early mornings and struggled not to have any beverage facilities on awaking. The host and her husband was very kind and very welcoming and did make us coffee on both mornings and we we’re grateful for this, however we did have to wait till 8am for this. We didn’t opt to have the breakfast included in our stay, but even if we we did, it would’ve only been after 8am and we were both up taking in the breathtaking views at 6am. so waiting 2 hours for a cup of ‘morning delight’ was hard. first world problems. These are minor points and Only mentioned because the review prompts us.

this place is insanely beautiful - it’s well decorated and has amazing views into Bologna. It’s quite and well designed. Extremely satisfying for the senses. we do thank our wonderful hosts for having us.

Amazing views and just an incredible place to stay just 20 mins from Bologna. The hosts were great and we felt at home.

unfortunately, the rooms dont have air conditioning which made sleeping at 30 degrees a real challenge. because of mosquitoes it’s impossible to open the windows, so the room turned into a proper sauna during the night. you also hear everything that happens in the other rooms, which also makes sleeping quite difficult.

Breakfast items were of good quality but it was a bit hard to put it all together into a meal, e.g. breads and eggs were missing. No fridge available to store drinks. A fridge with drinks and simple snacks in the common area would enhance the overall experience. The walls are thin, so you’ll hear the neighbors for sure.

Nice host. Very clean and charming property. Horses, dogs and the grounds.

Highly recommended, beautiful place very suitable for couples looking for the special places of Italy, getting up in the morning into a postcard, pastoral atmosphere, hard not to fall in love with the hosts, amazing people, usually I do not go back to the places I was but in this case, we will definitely return :-)

It was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t have a coffee in the morning without having to pay for the 15 euros breakfast. We were leaving early, it would have been appreciated to be offered a coffee or have a coffee machine in the room, especially since the house is quite isolated and far from shops.

Unfortunately, we had a horrible second night on our 2-night stay. Ants were falling off of the roof to our bed and made it impossible to sleep. Then they got around and infested the whole room. Of course, it's somewhat expected a few bugs because it's the countryside but this was a whole bad bad situation. We tried to call the owners for a room change but they were not reachable. In the morning they apologized but we had to leave early morning before breakfast because we were so desperate to get away.

The location was nice and the view was good. Roads were pretty okay and easily reachable by car. The decor was rustic and very local. The rooms were spacious.

We were staying in the little apartment as we were a group of four adults. Only three wine glasses in the cupboard and no corkscrew, a small inconvenience. Otherwise, everything was lovely.

Beautiful place. Eating breakfast each morning with the view out a row of arched windows was delightful, and our hosts were gracious.
