Trouble with air conditioning -so had 2 poor night's sleep.Engineer did call promptly but was still pouring water when we left. It did cool but dripping water kept us awake and when turned off, too hot to get sleep.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, rooms, pool and communal areas were immaculate and the gardens were beautiful.

Nice welcome and easy explanation of the area. Bus stop right outside but easy to walk into the main pedestrian area. Only a short stay for us, but kitchen facilities good. Very clean and spacious.

These are minor points but the hairdryer in the bathroom was just awful - i would suggest getting proper hairdryers for the rooms! I also think the other thing that the rooms lacked was coffee / tea making facilities. There is a little fridge but no kettle or cups etc. Just an idea to make your stay more comfortable. The breakfast was lovely but the hot food was warm rather than hot unfortunately.

Great location about 10 min walk from the lake front. Clean and modern facilities. Buffet breakfast was really good in terms of choice too. Overall a lovely stay. Would go back!

Location is on the main road so some road noise when outside. Couldn't hear it in our room (03) which was at the back of the hotel. Main bugbear - plastic backed mattress protectors make for hot beds!

Rooms were a good size and decor is modern and fresh. Small fridge for your use in the room. Good sized pool and gardens to laze in. Plenty of sunbeds and sun umbrellas.

Hard to find fault- the free Wifi was quite slow and there are no English speaking TV channels so download games/ movies at home if needed.

Welcoming and helpful, happy staff. Clean, modern rooms with air con, fridge, good shower. Had a suite (2 bedrooms, hall and bathroom) which was perfect and spacious for a family of 4 with proper beds, not sofa beds. Friendly atmosphere around the pool. Good breakfast. Plenty of secure parking. Close to the water park, Movieland, etc. Lots of restaurants, Bardolino town centre, the Lake and a supermarket within close walking distance.

    The internet connection was unreliable.

We loved the location and the pool. Particularly nice with all the grass for the kids to run around. Breakfast every morning was wonderful and the staff were very nice. All in all, a veey pleasant experience.

There was an under sheet on the bed of a plastic-like material, it was extremely uncomfortable. I wasn't impressed I had a ground floor apartment. I had to have the blind down and room in darkness so other guests couldn't see in. The floor was very dusty when we arrived. I think for the cost this is poor. The breakfast got very boring after the 3rd morning of the exact same mediocre food.

The breakfast staff were very friendly. The location was great and good onsite parking. I like the spacious garden area too

No tea/coffee facilities in room, no shampoo or tissues in bathroom ( never known that before anywhere else) breakfast was poor....you wouldn't go hungry and there was enough but no variation...each day was identical.breads were fresh as were the cakes...bacon too greasy by far,no toaster ( very unusual) tea/ coffee machine dreadful... inadequate...needs at least two machines.to fill a teapot you have to press hot water four times, it's so slow then you feel guilty as there are people queuing behind you. They also need a sign over the front door that indicates "RECEPTION" When we arrived, the sat nav kept directing us to a road around the back of the property, the front is actually on the main road but it looks like the back of the property! As the pool and large metal gates are at the front of the hotel.then you go in search of the reception..we entered two different doors before we found it. Nobody on front desk till 8am every day...and yet breakfast restaurant opens at 7.30..doesnt make sense as most people use that time of day to stop and ask questions on their way to breakfast.checkibg out was a huge problem as we had to leave at 7.30am for the airport and needed to hand in our key and pay our bill. There was a huge kerfuffle and umpteen emailS When we arrived back in the UK about paying our bill.booking.com were superb in helping us to resolve it. Apparently the hotel wants you to settle your bill the day BEFORE you check out..very very odd..I have never come across this before.we ALWAYS pay our bill on the morning we leave.

The cleanliness ,the staff and location, the parking, the pool

We were in room 3 which was over the kitchen so we had some extractor noise in the morning. We mentioned it and they delayed it until 8am. They did offer to try and move us but we decided to stay where we were.

Location is great, just a 5 min stroll to the lake and another couple till you're in the town. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a refurbished room on the first floor. Pool area and sun loungers clean and comfortable loungers. Fairly quiet even though you are close to the main road. Staff helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast lady. Breakfast decent choice and replenished frequently.

I was taken ill one evening after the reception was closed, there were no emergency numbers available to call, my partner ended up knocking on a door marked private, which happened to be the pool guys room, he couldnt get hold of a doctor so had to call an ambulance. I spoke about the lack of emergency phone numbers available the following day but staff made no attempt to publish them anywhere that I could see. It was all a bit of a drama.

Our only negative was closure of the bar at 10pm.

Everything easily to hand as the hotel is small and not on a sprawling site. Short walk from the room to the pool, bar area and grounds. Breakfast offerings were excellent. Staff were extremely helpful.

The hotel is in two parts: an old part and a new building. The photos of rooms shown on the Booking.com website are representative of those in the new part and these are modern, spacious and well laid-out; those in the old part are more basic and in need of refurbishment, although some have a decent size balcony. If you book a standard room it is likely it will be in the old part.No restaurant and only very basic bar snacks

Good sized rooms with air-con. (essential in summer here!) Good service generally
