Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyWe told them to get a room with two separates beds. The recepcionist offer us an Upgrade for extra payment. We did not accept it. To leave the baggage on C-out day cost also extra money.
Cheaper than other places. Confortable beds. Very basic breakfast included. Near Milan Main Train Station.

North MacedoniaWe had to ask for water or juice during the breakfast. We needed more towels. (My advice: you should change the towels every day during the room service) My sister’s blanket wasnt clean, she said it was full with human fibers (Thats what she said)
Very kind stuff. The room and bathroom was clean and warm. Thay are flexible about checking in, we arrived at midnight and there was no problem! It’s near bus station about 20-30 meters, and 10 mins by foot away from “Piola” metro station.

UkraineExtremely noisy trams run on the street all night long. Very hot, hard to breathe in the room. The room was tiny, with bidet in it)) It was so tiny that I had a problem getting in and out with my backpack with the door open.
Looks good outside. Relatively close to metro. Staff was nice. Checked us in almost at midnight. Shower in the corridor is clean.

IrelandThe fact that we have to pay 7 euro for the air conditioning, but nobody mention it at the check in, then later we have to go down the stairs to pay for the air conditioning. Also I disliked the fact that the hotel is very noisy, from the cars on the street, day and night.
Well I did like the location because it is a walk distance from the train station. And I like the fact that the place was nice in clean.
