How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Verified reviewIt was surrounded by nature and trees. Close to the beach and nice pizza restaurant. Not so far from the town but you need a car or bike to get there.
From restaurant to bar, we had much better experiences in other places in terms of staff courtesy and service. The place is very priced compared to other camping in Tuscany we have been on the same holiday, where we had a larger bungalow and pool sunbeds for a whole family included in the cost (and still less expensive than this!) and better customer experiences with the staff. The fact you also have to pay 25 euro a day for sunbeds for 2 people, for a family of 4 means 50...in addition to the already expensive stay, it's not been worth it for us. It's a shame as the structure itself is nice.

Verified reviewLocation is nice in the pine trees
There are more tents/bungalows then trees. Density of tents and people too high, one of top of the other, no privacy at all. Clearly a place where they prefer quantity to quality. And to call it a glamping is not fair. It is a camping, full stop. But even for a standard camping, too many slots.

Verified reviewOur “tent-cabin“ was fine for our 1-night spot on the Tuscany Trail bikepacking event. Comfortable double-bed and quite well closeable against mosquitoes. Since it rained that night, it was perfect to be covered and not in our own tent. We were pleasantly surprised to have ligts and electricity and even a small fridge plus the balcony. The close-by bar area and restaurant were very good in the evening. Showers, toilets, etc. were fine and clean with warm water. We didn‘t have a chance to go to the beach so can‘t comment on that.
Huge camping so pretty packed and had to wait a bit for check-in and getting a table for dinner but fine. Water for showering could have been a bit hotter but ok.

Verified reviewThe setting of the camping is beautiful with a canopy of pine trees. Although my tent / room was near to the restaurant and bar, the location afforded privacy and was quiet during the evening. Lovely campground.

Verified reviewWe were there in the off season and it rained on/off so we were able to enjoy a very quiet and beautiful beach only a short walk away from our comfortable cottage for four. They even have a restaurant (Mama’s) onsite that had very good food and very friendly service. We got there too late to rent bikes, as we planned, but the subsequent opportunity to just relax, picnic, and walk along the abandoned beach was magical and welcoming. The cottage for 4 was clean, the beds comfortable, and provided the needed heating for this time of year. There was a mosquito net for the double bed (not the bunk beds), but this was not needed. We had a small closet and sofa to place our luggage, but this was fine. The outdoor table and patio was simple, but also nice. The kitchenette with a refrigerator and hot pot was a small area, but clean and equipped for moderate to casual use.
We originally booked a deluxe tent for 4, but changed to a cottage when we found it had no heating. Although we are used to tent camping, we are glad we made the change. The tents are located in more cramped areas and a group near us had an untrained, an unfriendly dog, plus it was noisy and uninviting (not pretty locations at all and quite a distance from the beach). We were accommodated with the change which was not much more in cost for an already good and reasonable price. Car logistics were a bit inconvenient. We could not park the car at the cottage so had to walk a distance to get to the main reception and parking area. That said, we were allowed to at least temporarily park the car to load/unload luggage. During the high season, this would be difficult and prone to congestion (and cause noisy interruptions for campers) due to narrow access roads.

Verified reviewExcellent location on a beautiful beach. Comfortable bed in mini lodge. Very nice staff at the parking/car section.
The lodges closer to the highway catch a lot of the street noise. Also, the garbage collection on saturday morning at 6am was a bit annoying to hear.

Verified reviewRight at the beach with great facilities, the place is apparently a favourite one to many. We only stayed for one night, but enjoyed it.
Our mobile home was a bit off-level, which made it slightly difficult to sleep. Some of the windows were not opening and there were some more minor mechanical drawbacks here and there, which is perfectly understandable in the high season. Would mind it more, if we stayed for a longer time, though.
