Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe only issue was that we did not have 'hot" water during the stay - it was luke warm at best (not often) and during our 4 night stay we were not able to take a shower unless you like cold. It appears that the boiler needs attending too, the cleaning service had mentioned that the plumbing service had been called but was not there during our stay. No English speaking staions on the TV.
Location was very close to restaurtants, train and metro, the cleaning service was exceptional and she was very good at answering any questions we had. Very quaint, nice bed, place to sit in common area and a small balacony to sit on.

NetherlandsShower changes from warm to cold every few mins. Besides that it was a really good place to stay.
It was a nice place from the airport you can take a train for 8 euro per person to Tirburtina. Walking to the room is between 5-6 min. From the Tirburtina station u can buy a ticket for a week just for 24 euro and u can use all the metro busses and normal bus. Most of the locations are easy to reach. To bathroom looks good and the room is good too.

United States of AmericaWhile the reviews were in English, the owner only communicated in Italian. The app he used didn’t translate well so it was hard to get clear information about check-in/out. Also the posting made it appear to be walking distance to the train station… it was a 20minute walk l… 9minutes by taxi.
The room & en-suite were clean and cute. While wandering the area I found a great cafe for a prosecco, cappuccino, and incredible caprese salad! The staff were so sweet and helpful!

EstoniaWe stayed in the king-suite with balcony and spa-bath. It was not a suite, just a basic hotel room with bed and closet. Balcony in tiny and only good for smoking, you cant sit there or anything. Spa-bath was only partly functioning. They should give some voucher for breakfast, but we didnt get any. Location was somewhat OK. Overall I dont recommend.

IndiaA convenient location near the main metro, train station and bus station. Easy to reach from the Airport. We were from Fiumincio. Take a train ticket from the airport port to Tiburtina to reach here and it's only walking distance. Then take 24, 48 or 72 hours a ticket to roam around Rome. The staff are also friendly.

IsraelWe loved everything about our stay at Caos Calmo B&B in Rome
Caos Calmo B&B in Rome exceeded all expectations. The room was immaculate and diligently cleaned every day, making for a comfortable and carefree stay. The highlight was the large hot tub - a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploration. Moreover, the B&B's close proximity to Tiburtina Station made commuting a breeze, and the friendly staff were always eager to assist, adding a personal touch to the experience. This is an absolute gem in the Eternal City!

United KingdomThis is a classic case of style over substance, I kept stubbing my toe on a step just inside the room. It's more like an Airbnb than a hotel, there are no staff around unless you are checking in and have to arrange a time prior to arriving. You can't leave your luggage unless you pay $10. There is a kitchenette with afew essentials but bring your own tea bags and milk. The plug socket by the bedside actually came apart when we removed our plug from it. It was fine for a one night stay but not really suitable for longer stays. I chose it as I needed a hotel last minute and this was the best of the bunch. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in major cities for this price, so I don't think it has value for money. For what it is, it should be half the price.
Though it isn't in the centre of Rome, this place is in a busy local neighbourhood, with shops and restaurants around. There is a local metro and train station a 10 minute walk away, where it is easy to connect to the central station. You can't really walk to central Rome, but getting to the metro is easy.
