You have to walk up a few stairs to the hotel, a bit difficult with heavy luggage. But the staff are always on hand to help

It was clean and the staff was very helpful with questions and concerns, thanks especially to Armando who kept me very well supported and informed during the vacation! The terrace is a dream, especially in the evening!

We somehow totally missed the description part saying that the hotel is located on the third floor of an old building with no elevator. I should admit that if we knew we most likely would not have booked it, with 2 senior people and a child in our group. However, the staff had its all so smoothly organized that we barely noticed those stairs and the rooftop space was a great reward.

Central location, close walking distance from Duomo. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful rooftop space. And, most of all, the staff. Every person really invested time and attention and effort to make our stay amazing experience - and it totally was!

The bathroom was quite cramped and the soundproofing wasn't great, but it's understandable considering how old the building is.

Clean, nice hotel, staff very friendly and helpful Giovanni was the person who has done so much for us. He came to take us with umbrella in the moment of stormy weather, help us with suitcases and to park our car. 5 stars hospitality in this place. The Lady who prepared our breakfast was very kind and understanding about our needs for a vegan breakfast. We could not ask for better service. They are just amazing making our stay an excellent experience.

When I booked with booking.com I selected the appropriate dates and hit the confirmation button. Then I received a message asking where I was because somehow I was expected a day earlier. There's something disappointing about that. The next two questions are also disappointing. My motto is less screen time. So what expectations am I supposed to have when I don't dig deep.

The terrace was fantastic. What a view. The room was very clean and comfortable. Marco on the front counter was amazing. He carried my little bag up those 67 stairs with consumate ease. When I went out for my first walk he came upstairs carrying two huge bags for the new arrivals. Quite a feat. On the street there were many choices for food and drinks.

we liked everything about staying here.

the staff here was incredibly helpful and friendly, every time we arrived back or left in the morning we were greeted in a way that was incredibly warm and welcoming. It's very easy to feel at home here as a result. The location is super for walkability and we were able to easily reach every location we wanted to on foot. The views too, made for a perfect spot to have a sunset drink with a view for a way cheaper price than any locations in town.

Excellent location in the centre of Florence. Friendly, helpful staff - Giovanni’s food recommendations were excellent and a great breakfast at the Cardinal. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Minor issues, such as a weird smell in the bathroom on the first day, and that there are 3-4 floors you will need to climb via stairs (not an issue for me but could be for someone else). Grand scheme of things, everything was great.
