Chairs need filt feet, scratchin super loud on Parquet above. Impossible to sleep when someone upstairs movinc chairs. Also high heels and leather heels terrible on parquet. Clientel was not behaving. was somehow difficult to live with. Sorry to say, especially the eastern European Guests. And there were about 70% from Russia. This is not rassistic, please in no way, sorry, its just that in 2 years there will come no western European guast any more. Fresh Vegetables were missing on breakfast buffet. we asked 3 times , but nothing changed. No tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika, Internet was practically ZERO at rooms the first 7 days. at the end better. Needs to improve.

Ability to make tea or coffee in the room, or complimentary tea and coffee when coming in from skiing.

Hotel was very clean and had an interesting history, depicted on the walls. The ground floor was very spacious with plenty space for groups to sit.

    (1) Like many hotels in ski locations, below the very top price level, this hotel is some way from the slopes. So one is relying on buses to get there and back. The hotel runs a shuttle bus but only at scheduled times. One can ski to the skilift from the hotel easily but skiing back to the hotel (run #54) was not possible during the early part of our stay (snow not prepared in that area) and it has a very steep (black level) portion on it. The transport did however work well. The ski shuttle buses are frequent enough; they charge €10/day but the driver never checks the ticket! (2) The wifi was absolutely terrible and virtually useless except for quick stuff. The hotel seems to run on a single slow ADSL line, and to make life really hard they actually disconnect you every 60 minutes, so any file transfers etc get broken. Any online banking activity would similarly get broken unless you restart the 60 minute timer and then get on with it. At the price one pays for this very nice hotel (about €1300 for a week) they must fix this. (3) The bed was too hard for me, but to be fair this is common in hotels. Obviously hard mattresses last longer. (4) I would have liked a table and a chair (for laptop work) in the room, at this price level. There was a very low little table, only. But, hey, this is why AirB&B is great... unfortunately there was nothing on AirB&B in the area, and AirB&B (self catering) would be no good for Madonna because there is little to do "out" except skiing. You do need a good hotel.

    (1) The hotel itself is almost perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff, loads of room, good facilities (pool, massage etc). Everything clean, a wonderful shower, warm room with adjustable temperatures for the room and the bathroom separately, wonderful views from the room, you could not ask for much more. (2) The location (Madonna) is wonderful for skiing although (early Feb) the slopes got really busy and one needs to get there 8:30 prompt if one wants to avoid the crowds. I am a beginner/intermediate and really liked the big wide slopes and very good snow conditions. It is the best of 7 places I have been to in past 14 months. The town has more or less just some ski shops, boutiques and a few cafes, so you need to have your own stuff to do.

    1. Newspapers could be offered for free. 2. Breakfast should be more organized, with standard tables and not random.

Location, on the slopes, and mini club for children, a real attraction.

Quality of Wi-Fi was horrible, signal was week. I must say that we almost haven't had access to the internet at all (only in the night some websites were opening faster). Situation was so bad not only in the rooms but in reception area as well. Breakfasts were very average, especially after 9.00AM were run of some items (dark bread, orange juice, tomatoes etc.) Only thanks to our complaint situation slightly improved three days before the end of our stay. In the advert there are two restaurants in the hotel - it is practically not true. A'la carte restaurant was permanently closed (only one day they had event there), in buffet restaurant food was very average and expensive (25 Euro per person excl. drinks) - after first negative experience we decided to have dinners in different restaurants in Madonna (and even in other hotel restaurants in close neighborhood) every day, what was better option both in terms of quality and price. Strange requirement of having swimming cups at the pool was strictly observed but the same time one day group of noisy children below 12 y.o. war allowed to admit pool and SPA area (what was against other hotel regulations) without proper reaction of responsible stuff.

Very nice SPA facilities with good saunas and relaxation rooms. Rooms had been upgraded so we had more space available, rooms were clean and made up every day. Nice area around a bar, perfect to spend time after dinner, play board games, have a drink etc. Practically located and equipped ski room. Generally nice personnel. Location is perfect if you are focused on skiing only (and not interested in afternoon/evening activities- in such case you have to look for it at least 2 kilometers from the hotel).

I went there with my 9 year old boy, he loves it. Hostel is direct on slope,so I recomend a car. Restaurant was good, but if you decide to eat somewhere else it was far to travel and food was not good at all. At restaurants you have to pay fee for your place (chair) I thing it was 5 euro pp.It was two of us but if it's more people well it's better to stay for you dinner at the hotel.

The hotel restaurant was open just for 1,5 hour for lunch and for another 1,5 hour for dinner (it was almost impossible to eat anything at 4pm in the whole city). The language skills of the staff were good enough just to keep the most important conversations.

We got an room upgrade (after complaint about the missing mountains view). Short distance to ski lifts (and free shuttle back to hotel on request).

    1. Breakfast selection was poor and of low quality. Service extremely slow. 2. Staff never followed up requests and questions. 3. Children crowding the adult pool area.

    1.Good location for skiing, ski in/out. 2. Clean facilities. 3. Nice relax-zone.
