It was very stuffy so we had to try to open the windows to circulate some air, the elevator was down for a day but not a big deal for us.

1. The cleaner had great difficulty understanding my C1 level English and my B1 level French. I understand some workers here only speaks Italian, which can make things tricky... But no big problem. 2. There were all kinds of food and drinks in the room, but you need to pay extra money for them as far as I understand it. It's lucky I'm not so fond of having snacks and drinking, but it's still inhumane to tempt customers like this. It's the first time I have stayed in an European hotel, so I don't know if it's common practice here. 3. Also for those who have never travelled to Europe: the duvet cover is basically two sheets instead of a whole pocket-like thing as in the UK or in China. 4. The noise. You can hear clearly people talking in the corridor. The hotel is close to the streets so you can also hear people talking down there, though I think it's kind of inevitable in the city centre.

Cons: The breakfast was average (6 out of 10; no less but no more). I was expecting something more from an otherwise perfect 4* star hotel. This breakfast was decent but nothing too special (I was expecting more italian-oriented options).

Pros: VERY good location, everything was close (walking distance), a safe area, a quiet area. The staff was VERY helpful, and it was clear that they were going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Very clean, good bathrooms, relatively value for money. I would recommend this from a quiet weekend to a multi-day stay. Very satisfied.

The building is old and though it is well maintained you can feel that it’s old. Soundproofing is really poor and it was rather annoying.

The location is just perfect, 5-10 minutes from the center and all attractions. Staff very super nice and friendly. Good breakfast with a nice choice of different food.

It was very pleasant to feel welcome and meet the smiling staff at the reception. They did everything to help people find their way in the city, too. Special thanks and praise goes to Mr. Aman who is the soul of the breakfast room! He did so much to help the clients feel welcome and comfortable, he really cared. The breakfast was plentiful and served nicely. Very good coffee! The rooms were kept tidy and the design of the rooms was interesting, with maybe a bit too strong colors to meet our taste but one gets used to it. We could get a kettle in our room to make tea in the evenings. TV channels were plenty and there were also a few news channels in English, French and German. The hotel is very close to the main interest points and approachable on foot to the train station (approximately 10-15 minutes). There are also several bars and eateries in the vicinity. Overall, a very good feeling. Many thanks to the hotel personnel!

Our first time to Italy and Florence was our first stop. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful; particularly Eleanor. The place is very near the center, the hotel room is spacious and well-decorated, and the breakfast was very good with various options. A special mention to the people from the front desk (Erida, Eleonora, Augusto, and Davide): they helped me all the time, even before my arrival, and they made my stay very special. Kudos for their fantastic job.

The breakfast wasn't the best. My recommendation would have more fresh and extended options in what the breakfast provides. Although, I ate there almost every morning still satisfied my morning.

I have traveled around Europe for 4 months as well as stayed at Roommate Luca for around a month of my travel and have to say by far the best hotel, I have ever stayed at. The staff, room, and location were outstanding. The staff was extremely delicate, helpful, funny, and caring throughout my stay. They made me feel very comfortable where I was staying. Personally, I stayed in the Deluxe rooms and they were outstanding, with a lot of area to move around and a clean and nice bathroom. Lastly, the location is perfect for my situation, away from the noise, around everything I wanted, and within walking distance of any place around. Most importantly it was really easy to get to the train station from my location.
