It has a terrace overlooking the canal where you can see the daily life of Venice unfolding each morning: from the gondolier to the city police to the merchants carrying their goods. So funny and interesting though that in front of us is a computer school for high school. We had fun watching them and them watching us. At times some of the students would interact by waving and smiling at us😊 It’s also near to the many interesting places and restaurants, plus factor is a grocery nearby.

You are situated right on the canal so there is a bit of noise from the boats and gondolas but it’s not constant and has its own charm! Worth noting for light sleepers though!

Everything! Amazing location, atmospheric apartment, lovely decor and beautiful bathroom. Staying here was pure joy for all of us. Francesco was an amazing host, lovely to chat to and helpful. It’s in a quiet part of Venice form a tourist perspective which meant we could wander round without feeling overwhelmed with people like you do in the Rialto Bridge area, however everything is within a 10 min walk and there are lots of great places and eat and visit within minutes!

Nothing - it was perfect! But we are early risers and enjoyed watching Venice coming to life on the river. If you like a lie in, choose an apartment near the top of the building maybe?

Loved the location. Corner unit on two canals in a lovely, residential community in the heart of Venice. Well equipped kitchen, big terrace with a view, comfortable beds, amazing historic building, timbered ceilings, chandelier...the list goes on! Great customer service from Francesco and really great documents of maps and guides

Location, very near bus station/train station and vaporetto. Extremely spacious, lovely bathrooms and comfy beds. Quieter area of Venice, but within easy walking distance of attractions.

Right on canal which can be a bit noisy during early morning with noisy boats but not constant noise. Shower stall was small for such a good size bathroom.

Great quiet location and about 10-15 min from train station or bus station. Nice open kitchen, dining, living room space. Really LARGE apartment, could sleep 6 people with sofa couch.

We loved staying in Tintoretto apartment. The rooms were clean and comfortable and having two bathrooms was great. The location was perfect, not too far a walk from every place we wanted to be. The large terrace was definitely worth climbing 3 flights of stairs, which was not difficult at all when we didn’t have our luggage with us. It rained one of the nights but we were still able to use the terrace thanks to the large sun umbrella which allowed us to sit outside for a while. The heating inside the apartment worked perfectly as did the hot water in the shower.

I loved this place and can't fault it.

Fantastic location.. Get boat from airport to stop "San Stae" the apt is just a few mins walk away & Francesco kindly met us at this stop to bring us to the apt... Easy stroll to rialto too... Lovely quiet area but so close to all areas of tourist interest too...

keep in mind the apartment is equipped with one washroom so please bare in mind that fact if you are more than 3ppl. No elevator so you need to carry your bags to the second or 3rd floor. Can be a bit dark at night as the lights don't switch on at the entrance unless you enter the building.

I loved this place and the owner and staff are very accommodating and friendly. We had the entire apartment for ourselves and the kitchen was well equipped. it is about 10min walk from the metro station (keep in mind you will have to climb stairs so make sure you can carry your luggage.) Met Elena who was very friendly to guide me to the apartment, although she didn't speak English well she was really helpful. Since I stayed with couple of my friends they found the place as comfortable as I did. Everything was very clean and tidy. can't expect it to be any better. It is a very antique looking building and the rooms have history in them for sure but it felt so nice and comfy. I loved the fact that we had a Terrance at the last day where we could say hi to the nearby gondola drivers as we extended our stay. The apartment is close to many restaurants, café and also sightseeing places in walking distance. Overall perfect place to stay. will surely book again :)

The apartment was in a lovely, central location yet also quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of central Venice. It was comfortable, warm and well equipped. There is a decent supermarket a few minutes walk away and lots of good restaurants can be found nearby. We had a great view of the New Year's Eve fireworks over Piazza San Marco from the terrace. Top marks for our host, Francesco, who even offered to meet us at the boat-stop and guide us to the apartment. Communication with Francesco was excellent throughout our stay and an issue with the electrics was very quickly sorted out thanks to his speedy response - even though it was early on New Year's Day!

Beautiful property in a converted Venetian palace overlooking a canal- simply stunning! Location was very convenient for exploring Venice but also close to Sznta Lucia train station which made arriving straightforward.

Pillows and beds 7 out of 10

Great location and wonderful apartment in all ways. Beds ok but pillows not the best. Small trouble considering the value and location, otherwise was apartment was amazing.

What’s not to like??

Authentic Venetian apartment in an old Palazzo. Spacious, warm (we travelled in winter) well stocked kitchen, beautiful patios overlooking the canals (the Tintoretto apartment), only 10 minutes walk from train station, close to many wonderful restaurants and shops but in a quieter area which suited us. Francesco was easy to deal with and Elena met us at the station to show us the way to the apartment. Service and communication gets a 10/10!

The beds were a bit hard and pillows were very flat.

Fab location, restaurants, bars, a supermarket and a bakery all within easy walking distance but away from the more crowded tourist centre. We loved the authentic features in the building and being able to look out directly onto a canal. Francesco our host welcomed us on arrival and was easily contactable via WhatsApp. The apartment had everything we needed for a memorable holiday and we would certainly return there and recommend it.
